I can't believe the governor and his wife would degrade Easter by calling it a carnival. The children had no idea why they were celebrating Easter. That was such a shame.
If the IRS isn't going to provide us our tax pamphlets anymore through the mail, the only service they provided anyway, they should at least make them available to us at the U.S. Post Offices like they used to.

This is a typical statement by some repub. The last thing the country needs is the NRA making teahead decisions like these for the rest of us.
and only christian children would be interested in having some fun on a spring day? Egg decorating began as a spring celebration by the Persians (Iranians). The name "Easter" even comes from a pagan goddess - Eostre. The spring celebrations were co-opted by 2nd century missionaries.
People who get all hung up on christian stuff and how Pure it should be kept - need to get a life.
