Every morning at 6 a.m. there is a Hurricane-marked police car that gets on the interstate at MacCorkle Avenue. It literally flies on the interstate to the Hurricane exit. Someone needs to slow this officer down.

To the [reader] from Friday, June 1, that said they need to close down the school cafeteria for two months and have the dead-beat parents get out of bed earlier and fix their child a sack lunch, I challenge that person to go to any school on a hamburger day or spaghetti day and sit down in a school cafeteria and eat one of those lunches and hold it down. Eat some of that pink slime and see if you can stomach that. ... Try to go to the salad bar and eat that.

This is to the reader who said that the women who shaved their heads on the Capitol steps are goofy. They can be no [goofier] than the men who blow up mountaintops. You've got to be kidding me. Now that is goofy.

Thank you Charleston Gazette for Friday's edition. Jane Claymore you are the greatest. You can speak for me any day in the week or month or year. Thanks again.

Don't count on the media to report mismanagement, corruption of Obama's administration. They want him re-elected and they will not tell you the truth about him.

The Republican-backed big coal operators in West Virginia will never allow a liberal like Charlotte Pritt to become governor or senator. They will steal the election just like they did the last time she ran.

To the [reader] who stated that no one knows West Virginia exists. Is it because our stance against abortion and the sin of homosexuality? Well God knows we exist. And he loves us so all we have to say is Hallelujah.

It has now been almost two months since I filed my state income tax return and I am owed a refund. To date nothing has been received. My estimate tax for 2012 is due June 15. If the state cannot pay me what I am owed from 2011, then I do not feel obligated to pay them what they "think" they are due by June 15.

The person who worries about universities putting ideas into the heads of naive young people should worry about the people putting the idea of living forever, if you live your life a certain way, into the heads of naïve young people.

Huffington Post saying Fox News is biased. Now that's the pot calling the kettle black.

Wrong. The economy isn't recovering. Obama is borrowing and spending money we don't have to patch a few holes in the economy. Nothing has actually recovered. People are so high on the Democrat's kool aid they refuse to see what's really going on.

I'm sick of Mike Agnello. I wouldn't walk across the street to watch him eat an elephant whole. Well, maybe I would; at least he couldn't talk with his mouth full.

Three things: Coal River is not clean. Walt Helmick is not a farmer. Pictures lie.

What happened to the Kanawha County Board of Education's investigation into the fraudulent spending by the maintenance department?
