You know, I can't hardly understand AEP's thinking. Kanawha County will be one of the last to get power. Do [they] realize that's where the capital of the State of West Virginia is? You know, I don't think they want anybody to know what's going on.
I am so happy for the people in Glasgow with a caring mayor. It's a shame the people in Pratt don't have the same.
If Mitt Romney believes in America, why does he have a lot of his money overseas? That makes me believe he's not a true American.
Quit whining about the power. These workers are doing the best they can. And for those who keep saying South Hills is always first -- wrong. We don't have power and won't until Sunday, so quit your complaining.
Wow. The Thursday, July 5, editorial page was a knockout written page. Thank you very much for stating all the truth as we know it and as we read and understand it. Global warming or climate change is a reality.
This is for the people dumping on AEP and Suddenlink. Give these people a break. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't out there working in the heat helping other people. Please give these people a break. Thank you AEP and Suddenlink employees for your hard work.
Fifty percent of the people in South Hills still do not have power Thursday, so we're not being pampered. Many pockets of Kanawha City do not have power. It is just spotty outages everywhere.
