Ravenswood Aluminum can't afford AEP's rates? What does that say about us homeowners and non-commercial consumers? Things just can't get any crazier.
Talking about the younger people going to Community Music, they don't even know how to sit and have any respect for the show or people around them. I have watched them at Community Music and Clay Center. There is absolutely no respect.
Someone in Wednesday's Gazette lamented the fact there is no Korean War memorial. There is one. It's in Washington with the rest of the war memorials. It's probably the most poignant of all.
It is admirable that Hillary Clinton is trying to help other countries. We would all be better served by her trying to solve the horrible mess the U.S. is in. Charity begins at home.
Politicians are the lowest form of human life, but they're good at one thing: buying votes.
To the uninformed person who said that President Obama was rich because he had raised money for his campaign, the money raised for his campaign has to go for his campaign, and Mitt Romney has raised more money than the president has and he was already a multi-multimillionaire. If you don't know what you're talking about you should keep your comments to yourself.
A judge just ruled that the EPA overstepped its authority. Now the billionaire coal owners in Richmond can live it up, drink their Perrier while the people in West Virginia and everybody down stream will drink more polluted water.
Concerning the children killed in ATV accidents, I'm wondering why CPS is not involved, considering the parents have not required their children to wear helmets.
You're never going to get people off of welfare, WIC or food stamps until the government quits paying more money than minimum wage.
I like the newscaster who was picked up for driving drunk, I think. I'm just glad the police got him before he was killed or someone else, but I question his intelligence if he left Texas in a sports car and came to West Virginia. My, I'd trade places anytime.
If the laid-off employees of Century Aluminum want to get back to work, how much of a wage cut and benefit cut are they willing to take to help the plant become profitable? I don't think the everyday person should have their power bill increase so that Century employees could go back to work.
In case you don't know it, it is against city code in all of the cities that receive this paper to cut your yard and blow grass into the street. If I hit this grass when wet on my motorcycle and crash, you will wish you had not been so lazy!
I am a Christian against homosexual and heterosexual adultery. Now how many of you stone throwers will patronize my business in a show of support.
Whatever happened to the Charleston firefighter that got caught taping the meetings regarding the transfer of the fire station to South Charleston?
