For the presidential race, would you rather vote for a Mormon or a moron?
Why don't the road workers or the sanitation department post signs around the roadway of the blocked potholes on the West Side which you can't see until up on them? I just had my truck realigned.
I'd like to say to Constellium workers that are on strike, the fact that they are applying for unemployment they ought to be ashamed of themselves. They're out on strike on their own. They don't deserve unemployment. They ought to all be fired.
Someone called and said that gas was high and hamburger was high. I think that's a feature of the future for the United States of America. All you folks need to realize that the good old days are over. You borrowed way too much money from China. We're spending way too much on social programs. We have way too many people in this country who don't want to work and they're drawing benefits.
To the person who said Romney and Ryan reminded him of Bert and Ernie, well Obama and Biden remind me of Beavis and Butthead, and we all know how dumb they are.
That person that put in the note about going to the state fair in Lewisburg, that must have been a long-distance call into here, because most people in the populated part of our state can't get there. It's too far down.
Yeah, I think it's rather silly about Suddenlink and Frontier kinda putting each other down. I mean, in my opinion, neither one's worth a whatever, you know. So I've got one, I'm not going to say which one, but in my opinion I think I'm going to go to a cellphone and eliminate both of them.
This is in regard to the person that said Obama wants to help seniors by taking $715 billion from Medicare. It's to help him fund his government-controlled health care. We all lose because he's pushing us all into socialism. Please wake up.
I don't really know how many people are pro-life or pro-death or pro-abortion or whatever. I do not believe in abortion. I do not believe in same-sex marriage. One thing about it, when we get to heaven there won't be very many women with all the abortions going on because you can't get to heaven if you're a murderer.
Who would you call to investigate home confinement? Things are going on over there that are not being abided by the law. I'd like to know who to contact.
Why is Carol Fouty being persecuted when the entire legal system in Kanawha County seems to be of the same ilk?

Four more states are stimulating (no pun) their economy by cashing in on the marijuana boom. If only the West Virginia Legislature were so smart.
Why do the mayors and chiefs of police of Charleston, South Charleston, Dunbar and surrounding cities allow four, five or more officers to be off the road at the same time eating? There is no good reason to have this many officers parked at one time -- sometimes for an hour or more.
Here's a question: When was the last time the GOP worked with the Democrats? The door swings both ways. If they would vote their values vs. going along with their party, many decisions would lean to the liberal side and we wouldn't have half the problems we face today.
To the readers that think the Democrats caused this economic failures, you and the rest of the Republicans must have been in a coma for the last 12 years. The Republicans caused the downturn under Bush and for the last four years have done everything they can to keep Obama from being successful.
To the person or persons that walked into our garage last night and stole our four-wheeler in Cross Lanes (while my husband and I had walked inside for 10 minutes), you should be ashamed of yourself. You should try getting a job, and you too could have nice things.
When asked questions about issues, many Obama supporters are actually conservative. They support Obama for one reason and one reason only: He's a Democrat. It doesn't matter to many of them he opposes most of their beliefs. Being a loyal Democrat is more important than saving our country.
On "America's Got Talent," a 19-year-old girl she rolls around on the stage and they have eight guys imitating cloggers and they get to stay and they have a fantastic magician that blows up a guy, the piano and everything else, and they get voted off. It's unbelievable.
The matter of Obama's questionable birth certificate is law. The Romney tax record controversy is nothing more than a witch hunt to pull attention away from the fact Obama has been the worst president in history.
Hundreds of West Side residents banded together to rename the new grade school. Only 10 showed up for a meeting about crime in the area. Oh well. The kids can't play outside, but at least they have a new name for their school.
The president's father is "a Marxist communist"? (I'd ask where you heard that, but it's obvious who your sources are.) Do you actually know anything about Marxist philosophy or do you just think the term's an insult?
So the GOP platform has a no-abortion-no-exceptions (no surprise) plank. Doesn't forced childbearing sound like something you're more likely to find in a fascist system than in a republic? Oh well, no more sticky choices if your wife or daughter's life is endangered by taking a pregnancy to term.
To the reader who doubted what he heard on the news, that coal mining jobs had increased under Obama: It's true, but that's not what the coal companies want you to think. Obama also wants to make the companies limit miners' exposure to coal dust. Now just who do you think is paying for the ads saying Obama is an enemy of coal? That's right -- the companies. Don't be fooled. Obama is a friend of coal miners.
Four years ago, James Dobson, of Focus on the Family, asked Republicans to pray for rain on the Democratic convention in Denver when Barack Obama made his acceptance speech. I guess you really do reap what you sow.
