To the person who talked about the old man not mowing Bowling Pet Cemetery, the old man that owned that died several years ago. It's his family that's not been mowing it. Mr. Bowling kept that cemetery in immaculate condition.

More welfare, more food stamps, more social programs. We're going broke and people don't even realize it. We cannot support the whole country. Someone has to work.

My parents scheduled installation of a landline telephone with Frontier. On the day of the scheduled appointment, an installation technician called saying he was in Salt Rock looking for their house. My parents live in South Charleston. The technician told them that South Charleston wasn't his area. My parents have never heard from Frontier since that day, and that was two months ago.

I'm calling because Kanawha County Schools allows kids to bring snacks to eat in school. I think they should cut that out because some kids are bumming from the other kids because they can't afford to bring them. I don't think they need a snack anyhow. Summersville doesn't do it, and I just think it puts undue pressure on parents and the kids too.

I used to like and watch a lot of C-SPAN but in the last month or so it has turned into a complete campaign-pushing station for Obama and the Democratic Party so I cannot faithfully watch it anymore when they don't tell the truth and don't be a fair and unbiased station.

I am a lifelong Democrat who is not going to vote for Manchin and Tomblin. If I'm going to have a Republican in there, I want an R beside his name.

Romney-Ryan ask us to trust them with reforming Medicare. Republicans never wanted Medicare, voted against it, and have spent decades trying to destroy it. If we trust them with Medicare, Medicare will be gone and we will never see its return.

Isn't this country great? Ninety-eight weeks of unemployment. Why work?

Neither party can correct what started in the '50s, and that's moving jobs overseas. Everything's overseas now and we're going to face a depression. Get ready.

Here's a thought. If the two candidates running for president would put all the money they have accumulated in the economy we would be in a really good shape and maybe, just maybe, be able to pay off China in the progress. Yeah. Dream on, Alice.

Since when do you have to be a member of the Big Green Scholarship Foundation to get tickets to games like West Virginia and Purdue? I donate to Marshall already and am an alumni and my children have attended. Bad decision by the administration.

I would like to know why the man that his son and daughter-in-law lost their job doesn't pony up and support them instead of asking the public to give them food stamps and welfare. Why don't he help his own family instead of wanting the public to do it?

These union people up there in Ravenswood likening their strike to a family reunion. It's the type of mentality like that that keeps jobs out of West Virginia, and the only thing I wish they'd have is a trip to the unemployment line, all of them.

I hate Dutch Miller's stupid commercials.
