I want less war than Obama has provided. Romney promises more.
More Republican hypocrisy: They constantly talk about how bad Hollywood is for family values and then they bring out a Hollywood actor, Clint Eastwood, who's been married five times, to speak at their convention just before Romney speaks.
Paul Ryan blamed President Obama for a GM plant closure in his hometown. The fact is that the plant closed in 2008 and G.W. Bush was president.
Mitt Romney said that he has a plan that will create 12 million jobs. We Republicans can see through that hogwash. Wake up Mitt, the government doesn't create jobs. The private sector does. Mitt, quit flip-flopping.
The theory that the "blue states" are "teeming with welfare masses" simply isn't true. Look up maps showing states with the most people in poverty. You'll see that poor people are a higher percentage of the population in West Virginia, Kentucky, Texas, and Louisiana (all "red states") than in New York, Illinois, or California.
I watched Paul Ryan pledge to work with Democrats to get the country back on the right track. I expected his nose to grow a foot. After all, according to a book written by Robert Draper, Paul Ryan was one of 12 current Republican members of Congress who met with Newt Gingrich on Jan. 20, 2009, to plot how ... to obstruct and block President Obama on all legislation.
How sad is it that the only person reporting from the Republican National Convention is Michael Agnello. Is this the best West Virginia can do?
Who are the alternate delegates to the DNC to replace the DINO trio of Rahall, Manchin, and Tomblin?
Mrs. Romney described her marriage as chaotic with five boys. What happened, did the maid take a day off?
I think it's a disgrace that gasoline is $4 a gallon. Where is Obama when they treat people like this?
I can't believe the DEP fines the Veterans Affairs and lets these coal companies operate the way they do. This is unreal.
I believe that God still loves the United States of America enough that he won't let Barack Obama be re-elected to the presidency.

I'm pretty sure that Appalachian Power's CEO would have to make something up to say that he did anything at all. Appalachian Power really needs to think hard about getting rid of that fellow and putting money back into the system like it belongs.
Why would anyone from West Virginia vote for someone who owns six houses like Mitt Romney does to be their president?
My heart goes out to those fallen and wounded troopers and their families. However, we have soldiers who fall everyday and if you give them any recognition at all it's a little paragraph hidden deep in the paper somewhere. This is not meant to take away from the police or the job that 95 percent of them do. It is to bring to light what our soldiers do.
Who would have guessed, Labor Day weekend and gas is at its highest price, and Isaac came ashore as a rainstorm, not a hurricane, and the oil companies and their pawns in our government, the representatives, are laughing all the way to the bank.
I'm outraged as a taxpaying citizen that I am expected, potentially, to pick up a part of Century's rate on their electric bill for them to be in business. In the United States we live by what's called capitalism.
From what I've seen of the Republican National Convention, it looks like the inmates have taken over the asylum.
As a means of atonement for our many, many wrongdoings in this country, all college football games this year should be canceled and that time used in hard labor organizations to work and toil to atone for our wrongdoings.
Warren and Darrell McGraw are the closest things to real Democrats in the state of West Virginia, but the vote is still out on Dr. Dan Foster, who I will write in for governor come November.
Yeah, John Raese is a joke and a crybaby because he wasn't invited to speak at a gathering. You know, his only platform is Manchin will vote for Obama. Hey, I will too, and I'll also vote for Manchin.
People, stop looking trashy. Take your old yard sale signs down.
It's interesting to listen to the mainstream media coverage of the Republican National Convention. They don't even try to be objective. They've all been to the same liberal universities, only associated with other liberals.
Mr. Romney opposes higher taxes on the rich because the rich are "job creators." We have yet to see any jobs created by the $27 million he earned in 2010.
