Does someone at the Gazette sports desk have a crush on the ex-Michigan, now-Arizona coach? Who wants to read about that arrogant [man] who deliberately lost his last game at WVU?
Yeah, are you better off today than four years ago? Well, after Bill Clinton's speech explaining how George Bush and Dick Cheney tried to eliminate the middle class, yes, I'm better off.
Boy, our state Ethics Commission has no ethics. Would someone give them a dictionary and let them look that word up and educate them? Better yet, get rid of them altogether and start over. Talk about the good-ol'-boys system -- and it's our money they're playing with. Someone needs to go to jail.
The referees who took the two touchdowns from Marshall during the Marshall-WVU game should be banned from officiating because they flagrantly blew the calls at critical times and should be reviewed by the NCAA review committee on officiating.
Comical. Bill Clinton has a long, documented history of not being honest. The Democrats still hang on to everything he says as the truth. Most of his speech was either false or at least a twist of actual facts.
No bias in news reporting? Major controversy at the DNC over having God mentioned in their platform. Little if any mention of this in the Gazette or Huffington Post.
Bill Clinton complained the GOP has opposed every move the Democrats have tried the last two years. Duh! That's why the majority of voters put more GOP members in office the last election: to block the spread of socialist policies by the Democrats.
If you love your political party more than your country, then go ahead and vote for Mitt Romney.
A man with a Napoleonic complex wearing a black robe is a very bad thing. Get rid of him!
Political speeches aside, I have watched the steady decline of this great country for decades now. In recent years, the decline has increased at turbo speed. We will soon find out what credit-card prosperity and the loss of any sense of morality does to great nations. Enjoy these last few days. There are not many left.
Your newspaper has had some terrible columns lately, but the worst is the one today, and it's by Froma Harrop about raising the Medicare age to 95. If that was intended to be funny, it missed the point. It was a total waste of space.
Obama's wife said he was somebody you could trust. Well, you sure can trust him, all right. Look how many trillion we're in debt.

You social liberals who like to castigate opponents of abortion and gay marriage that their states have more divorces than liberal states, could that be because there are more live-in couples than married couples in the liberal states?
I think prisoners should be handcuffed behind their back. They should have some kind of a heavy-duty metal mesh device snapped around their hands with a lock on that, and there will be no more prisoners killing police officers.
I'm a 67-year-old male and I have voted ever since I was eligible. I've been a Democrat, but now, since the Democratic Party has adopted the gay platform and is supporting homosexual marriage, it's time for me to change my politics.
Debbie Wasserman-Shultz is an out-and-out liar about comments she made concerning Republicans and Israel.
Republicans want to spend more money on the military, but it's not because they're concerned with security. They just want to give billions to their defense contractor friends who, in return, will give them millions for their re-election campaigns.
I am so proud of the first lady and our president. My heart just overflows.
Are we just going to allow the progressives to redefine what constitutes a family, or are we going to speak out for Western civilization's most important institution?
I was really disappointed that the Gazette, on Wednesday, didn't find it necessary to show how large the debt in this country is on the front page. It was way back on 7C. I was really let down.
We parents know that you cannot give your children everything that they want or demand. That makes them spoiled brats. It seems to me we have a lot of welfare brats these days.
We shouldn't vote for a president based on his being rich or poor, black or white, or whatever their religion is. We should vote for the one who knows how to get ahead, and that's Mitt Romney. Obama has had his chance, and we know that he can't do it.
Should we give tax breaks to the "job creators"? Absolutely! But remember, the real job creators are the middle-class consumers who create demand. Business owners don't hire people unless there's demand.
I don't know about anyone else who lives near Quaker Steak and Lube, but Thursday night's Bike Night is getting old and keeps getting louder and louder. It is very annoying and goes on past many people's bed times, especially since school has started. It also makes our quiet neighborhood unpleasantly noisy during the spring and summer months.
How many times must good men die? How many tears will the children cry? Till we suffer no more sadness. Stop the madness.
I think all police vehicles should be equipped with wands like airports use for scanning suspects. It makes it more comfortable for both parties, identifies objects easily missed and could possibly save lives.
