Elect President Obama for another four years and at the end of eight years he'll still be blaming Bush for a lousy economy.

This is to the reader who made remarks about Ed Rabel's editorial. You took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you and thank you, Ed Rabel.

To the people who say they will not vote for Joe Manchin or Earl Ray Tomblin because they act like Republicans, then why would they vote for the other choice, a Republican? Duh.

I had to respond to the caller praising this Ed Rabel ... because I thought it was one of the most blatantly leftist pieces of drivel that I have read in a long time, and I do not know why The Gazette lets such biased people have space in the paper.

If Kate Smith was alive today, she would ask you to vote Obama in as president so America would once again be worthy of blessings.

Is Maloney running for candidate of the Sternwheel Regatta? He doesn't have a clue. He doesn't have a platform. He must think he can get the winning number off the Rubber Ducky race.

I have a message for Mitt Romney and his billionaire buddies at the $50,000-a-plate dinner in Florida. We are not the 47 percent. We are the 99 percent and we are about to teach you a basic lesson in simple arithmetic.

I beg to differ with the reader that said the president 'has clearly shown that he is not interested in listening to other opinions.' He spent at least the first year trying to work with/represent others with different opinions but those 'others' dug their feet in the sand.

I haven't heard President Obama mention his highly paid czars recently. Does he hope we have forgotten about them? Someone should ask him if he plans to keep all of them if he is reelected.

PEIA director Ted Cheatam sure has the right name because PEIA took thousands from me. They had me listed as a tobacco user when I have never used it in my life. I won't get any back since I didn't "catch it" in time.

I hope Chuck Hatfield does some research before he signs on the bottom line to have locally grown food served in our schools. He needs to ask how many of the local farmers plant genetically modified seeds and use herbicides and pesticides.

Wonder if Mitt realizes that the majority of the young men and women that fought in Iraq and Afghanistan are the very sons and daughters of the 47 percent of the Americans he so deplores? Compare these figures to the sons and daughters of the top 5 to 10 percent ... he so desperately wants to represent.
