This is for the lady from Dunbar who called me a couple of days ago about the story about the little dog, Lilly, who was so sick. I inadvertently deleted your message and I do not have your number to return your call. If you call me again, I'd be happy to talk to you.
Security screens in police cruisers would not have prevented the two troopers from getting shot. Handcuffing the prisoner's hands behind his back would have or if the police cruiser had been equipped with hand-held radar to detect metal. The screens would not have changed that.
This is in response to the woman having problems with cats tearing up her furniture on her front porch. Get a real mean dog that doesn't like cats and leave it on your front porch.
As a non-Christian I find it a little insulting that trick-or-treat will not take place on Halloween this year because Halloween falls on Wednesday and a small number of people go to church on Wednesday. Isn't it odd that some of these churchgoing kids will dress up as vampires, zombies and serial killers to go trick-or-treating the day before church?
Would someone tell me what we're supposed to do when you don't even have anybody running for president that's worth voting for? I don't really even want to vote this year.
It doesn't matter which political party wins the election. This country is doomed. When we start trying to feed everybody from the womb to tomb, it cannot happen. We just don't have that kind of money. Somebody is going to have to start going to work again.
Apparently eight years are missing from the conservative version of recent American history. Everything bad that happened before Obama became president, such as the attacks of 9/11, were Bill Clinton's fault, and everything bad that has happened since Bill Clinton was president, such as the economic disaster of 2007, is president Obama's fault. While I agree that George W. Bush was a puppet of Karl Rove Inc., he did exist.
Anyone dumb enough to vote for Romney because they think he is going to 'save' the coal business deserves to loose everything else that goes along with that vote. Coal is dying on it's own and a vote for Romney will cost you a lot more.
Ann Romney [recently] complained that this running for president thing is hard. And she's not even running. For the first time in her life, she has to work and she doesn't like it. Oh, the problems of the rich are heartbreaking. Sure hope her butler, cook and chauffer don't quit.

I want to say that the wall at the Capitol being painted is beautiful.
Key states are lining up to support President Obama. They like a winner. If only people in West Virginia were as smart.
Guess what, Mitt? Most of those 47 percenters have children and you said you are not going to worry about them, so you are obviously not going to worry about their innocent children, which makes you inhuman, repulsive and unworthy of representing anyone except the Republicans.
Well, apparently on Mars, rocks have names.
Romney didn't say that 47 percent of Americans don't pay taxes. He said that 47 percent of the people who are going to vote for Obama don't pay taxes. There is a difference. Get it right. And for the [reader] who said military members don't pay federal taxes, that is wrong. I did 20 years in the Army and I paid federal taxes ...
In the state that Mitt Romney governed, Obama is way ahead in the polls and Mitt has given up winning his home state. These are the people that know Romney's governing ability best, so ... this should tell us something.
Perhaps someone should tell Mitt that people would be willing to pay federal income tax if they had a job that paid enough to feed themselves and their families.
The coal barons are trying to make Obama look like he's the bad guy here. The fact of the matter is that the market in coal has taken a spiral because the world economy is getting ready to change.
