This is for the lady from Dunbar who called me a couple of days ago about the story about the little dog, Lilly, who was so sick. I inadvertently deleted your message and I do not have your number to return your call. If you call me again, I'd be happy to talk to you.

Security screens in police cruisers would not have prevented the two troopers from getting shot. Handcuffing the prisoner's hands behind his back would have or if the police cruiser had been equipped with hand-held radar to detect metal. The screens would not have changed that.

This is in response to the woman having problems with cats tearing up her furniture on her front porch. Get a real mean dog that doesn't like cats and leave it on your front porch.

As a non-Christian I find it a little insulting that trick-or-treat will not take place on Halloween this year because Halloween falls on Wednesday and a small number of people go to church on Wednesday. Isn't it odd that some of these churchgoing kids will dress up as vampires, zombies and serial killers to go trick-or-treating the day before church?

Would someone tell me what we're supposed to do when you don't even have anybody running for president that's worth voting for? I don't really even want to vote this year.

It doesn't matter which political party wins the election. This country is doomed. When we start trying to feed everybody from the womb to tomb, it cannot happen. We just don't have that kind of money. Somebody is going to have to start going to work again.

Apparently eight years are missing from the conservative version of recent American history. Everything bad that happened before Obama became president, such as the attacks of 9/11, were Bill Clinton's fault, and everything bad that has happened since Bill Clinton was president, such as the economic disaster of 2007, is president Obama's fault. While I agree that George W. Bush was a puppet of Karl Rove Inc., he did exist.

Anyone dumb enough to vote for Romney because they think he is going to 'save' the coal business deserves to loose everything else that goes along with that vote. Coal is dying on it's own and a vote for Romney will cost you a lot more.

Ann Romney [recently] complained that this running for president thing is hard. And she's not even running. For the first time in her life, she has to work and she doesn't like it. Oh, the problems of the rich are heartbreaking. Sure hope her butler, cook and chauffer don't quit.
