Republican Romney's lies about taxes and the economy are not supported by facts.

The late L.T. Anderson had the answer:  Have the prayer at the end of the game.  Those who don't want to pray can leave when the game's over; the devout can stay and have their prayer.

Why give tax breaks to millionaires like Republicans want to do? They just do what Romney does and stash it in the Cayman Islands and overseas and it doesn't do this country any good. All it does is make rich people richer and the middle class gets virtually nothing.

People who believe the hogwash that Shelley Moore Capito's fed you in her op-ed piece "100% support for coal" need only read the Gazette's editorial "Transition, Coal down, gas up," in the same issue to understand how much the people of West Virginia should be waging a war on Big Coal. The taxpayers of West Virginia pay for the devastation left behind as it has in McDowell County.

Since Obama can force people to purchase health care that they don't want, why in the world can't he force people to get off the taxpayers' backs by getting off welfare and getting a job? I don't see any real difference. Both are a drain on the taxpaying, working, everyday American.

Any chance we could get replacement politicians? There simply is no possibility they could be worse than the originals. Maybe some with an 'A' after their name for American rather than 'D' or 'R.'

I would suggest searching the term, "do Mormons believe in more than one god" on the Internet for many discussions on the subject.

If I were an employer whose business is being devastated by these unreasonable economic and environmental policies to the point I must lay off employees to survive, I would go out in the parking lot, figure out who is driving cars with Obama bumper stickers, and give them pink slips to show them [their] vote has consequences.

I for one was hoping that the replacement refs would do well because the regular NFL refs are terrible. Well so much for that. How quickly people forget the regular refs blow calls on a regular basis as well.

Most of the fatal accidents along U.S. 60 in Jefferson have involved alcohol. The bars should start taking some responsibility. Telling drivers to be careful and asking for more lights is good, but it might be a better idea to quit sending drunks out to walk along busy highways.

Regarding the breastfeeding articles, I am proud to say that I breastfed my child long after 12 months. She was a tiny preemie but the healthiest one in daycare. For a couple of years she nursed every night before bed. It was a very special time that I loved from beginning to end. ... You will never regret it and your child will reap the benefits.
