Reader says he watches and reads the news every day and knows exactly what Romney said with his "47 percent" comment. You only know what the news media has edited and wants you to think.

The saying is, "Give a man a fish he eats for a day. Give him a pole he eats for life." The Bible story has nothing to do with it. It's plain, simple common sense and that's what confuses most liberals.

I work for a major national corporation with 20,000 employees and I have been told that they plan to hire and expand if Mr. Romney gets elected and will have no choice but to have a major layoff if President Obama is reelected.

Unlike the Pelosi-led Democrats who voted for Obamacare without reading the bill, Republicans read the bills and understand them before voting. That's why Obama's jobs bill failed. Like Obamacare, they were bad for the country.

Food stamps won't buy you a car or a house or the kind of life you dream of having.  All food stamps do is make you dependent on someone who wants your vote!

If you are a senior citizen who depends on the interest off of Certificate of Deposits to supplement your Social Security, do you think you can afford four more years of Obama, who prints money at will to lend to banks at almost zero interest rates so that banks don't need to use our money?

Concerning the 47 percent Romney stated, "My campaign is about helping people take more responsibility." He referred to "those who are with [Obama] who are dependent upon government [and] believe they are victims."

Or only three options: An immediate drastic cut in every government program, an immediate drastic increase in taxes or insolvency and third-world status. Every day we delay only ensures it will soon be the third choice by default. Our 'wretched excesses' are about to come to an end.

If the 47 percent of Americans that don't pay income taxes really do pay taxes as reported by MSNBC, there would apparently be no injury in cutting Medicaid, food stamps, and welfare payments. They're pulling in an income and don't need to live out of the pocket of the rest of us.

No wonder our budget deficit problems never get attention. Our President has been campaigning and fundraising almost nonstop for more than a year. Congress refuses to do anything but adjourn and campaign for re-election. All so everyone can have two or four more years to do nothing. Wake up people. It's time for replacement politicians.
