With his denouncing of state Public Broadcasting, Mr. Romney has just lost whatever respect I might have had for him as any kind of a leader. I wouldn't hire him as a junior janitor in a public school. He should be kept away from America's children.

Yeah, how does Michelle Obama, an unelected official, tell every kid across the country what they can eat and what they can't eat. This is ridiculous. It's like a dictatorship. This is not America.

I just discovered Romney's age. He's too old to be president.

If you are driving in a Kroger in Teays Valley parking lot and you have the nerve to honk at a senior citizen with severe osteoarthritis trying to make their way to the car, then shame on you and you are not a good person.

There is no Republican or Democrat that is truly born again. Vote for Obama because he is for gay rights and abortion. This is against God's word. Read the Bible.

If Gov. Tomblin is re-elected, I think he best give his state employees a raise. It has been a long time coming.

Two comments: one, $20 million coach Holgorsen is the coach, not the defensive coordinator. The defense will get better. The other one: Redneck West Virginia hillbillies will cheer for a black man. Not only West Virginia but Marshall, Pittsburgh, any other team out there. Stupid.

If Sen. Manchin, Congressman Rahall and Gov. Tomblin say they will only do what is best for West Virginia (as they all say in their ads), why did none of them attend the Democratic convention to represent West Virginia? What a sorry lot!

Since you're an authority on how much of PBS programming "pushes the liberal agenda," would you mind listing specifically which programs do that? Should conservatives avoid "Downton Abbey," for example? "Masterpiece Theatre"? "Nova"? Maybe "Nature"? Surely you're an avid watcher, right? How else would you know?

Mr. Raese, another Constitution lesson: Manchin is a citizen of the United States of America, so it is very important that he never has to disclose whom he votes for under the rights of the Constitution. I have already pointed out to you that the balanced budget legislation should never be under the Bill of Rights. Study the Constitution, John, if you want to join the U.S. Senate.

To the reader who says that West Virginia hillbillies cheered for Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., you're wrong. Only the West Virginia tree-hugging liberals cheered for him, not the true West Virginia redneck hillbillies.

The Huffington Post [is] one of the most liberal news outlets out there. Checked facts from debate, [and] Ryan's answers were more accurate than Biden's. Imagine that.

Could someone please justify why a county that has been taken over by the state can create a new position paying $90,000 a year and this position is taking responsibilities away from two other positions while keeping those positions intact. Should one or both of those positions be done away with? Teachers are being paid below national level and service personnel are making poverty-level wages.
