When candidate Raese walks out of meetings, debates, etc., it might suggest fear that he cannot hold his own against Manchin and Baber. It also might suggest that he is a spoiled child who will take his ball and go home if things don't go his way. Put on your big boy pants, Mr. Raese, and deal. The message you want to get out can't be heard if you are absent.
When our towers were burned to the ground by terrorist, Democrats, independents and Republicans put politics aside and we were one nation joined for a cause to right the wrong. When our embassy was attacked in Libya, the first thing the Republicans did was start their political garbage to gain a vote.
They say it's hard to prepare a football team with a short week between games Playing in the Big 12, WVU will be faced with a short week every time they play back-to-back away games. Won't be surprised if we have more disappointing games throughout the season.
A summa cum laude college graduate who supports Obama: Another example of how our tax dollars are being wasted on college loans. I feel sorry for that woman's husband. Wonder how he feels about everybody knowing she wears the pants in that family.
The unemployment rate should go up in West Virginia. The defensive coordinator at WVU needs to go, now. Inexcusable to spend the money he makes and get such an inferior product in return.
I think it is very upsetting that the students and fans of WV football are required and expected to wear blue and gold to the games but the team does not. If you happened to see the game on TV, white on white with a gray helmet does not say West Virginia.
Mitt's Campaign Song should be: "Take This Job and Ship It!"
Why have only the most liberal news commentators been chosen to moderate the debates? They tend to "softball" the Democratic candidates.
Mitt doesn't discriminate. He wants to take away retirement benefits from the elderly, unemployment from the workers, and Big Bird from our children.
WVU football fans should be careful. Sometimes you get what you wish for. Think Nebraska and Auburn.
Is anyone fact-checking the fact checkers?
Now, we discover that Mitt was forcing non-union workers to train illegal Chinese workers to run a factory in Illinois. He planned to pay the Chinese workers 90 cents an hour as opposed to paying American workers minimum wage. Instead of letting Mitt run for president, I believe he should have to go before a congressional hearing and at the very least investigated by the IRS.
What happens when your football coach doesn't believe in defense? They only show three quarters of the game on national TV before switching to a real ball game. Figured it would only be a matter of time before Wonder Boy blew it.
Maybe they will add signal lights as a new feature on dome of the new cars and trucks this year.

Mr. Romney is very out of touch. Public television is largely paid for by contributions. I am a proud supporter of public television. Most of the time it's the best that's on and thank God there are no BS political ads. Wake up Mitt, Big Bird and Elmo have you beat.
Today I get an online ad popup that alleges that General Motors used its government bailout money to fund a communist movie and the ad blames the president. What planet do people who think like this come from?
Many of us consider NPR and PBS as one and the same. Yes they are liberal. Our military is a better investment of our tax dollars than your Masterpiece Theater. If a PBS program is any good, it shouldn't have any problem making it on a cable network.
Folks who honestly disapproved of Biden's aggressive demeanor during the debate should feel the same way about Romney's attitude in the first debate. The eyes of the beholder color our world.
For all you conspiracy buffs, here is an old/new one for you: "Where Troy Once Stood" provides evidence that the Trojan War was fought in Britain by Celts, not in Turkey by Greeks.
Fire DeForest.
Does anybody else see the resemblance between Paul Ryan and Pee Wee Herman?
If Obama is elected for a second term, just think of the mess he will inherit for his second term. Will he blame it on Bush?
Joseph Wyatt was right in his opinion piece. Any Republican who signed the Grover Norquist pledge should be kicked out of Congress and tried for treason. They took the oath to protect the United States. Who is paying their salary?
I don't know what scares me the most: An inexperienced socialist in the White House destroying our country, or knowing there are millions of people out there thinking he's a great leader and are willing to give him another four years.
On the subject of truancy and the overcrowding of shelters, I know most counties have empty schools they are not using. Modify them and staff them.
Mountaineers' defense is the worst in the country. DeForest isn't fooling anyone other than Oliver Luck. He is not worth the money we are paying him for defensive coordinator.
I'm tired of hearing the lie that Obama said he'd bankrupt the coal industry. He said, speaking of constructing new coal-fired power plants, that, with the cost of coal, pollution controls, and cheap natural gas, that whoever built a coal-fired power plant would go bankrupt. Sounds like good financial advice.
I can't believe the politicians who are talking about tax cuts. I mean, how deep of a hole do we have to get in before they realize we actually have to pay our way out instead of charging even more? The day of reckoning will be coming soon and it will be very ugly.
