The first debate lost the election for President Obama. Two bright spots, however.  The 2012 election will mark the beginning of the end for the Tea Party as they will be unable to accept the compromises a President Romney will be forced to make and he will be limited to one term by Hillary Clinton.

I went to get my license renewed. Lady told me to get a new birth certificate. I ordered one 20 days ago and am waiting, and waiting to get one. Now I will have to pay to renew my license. What a racket! Who can I contact about this stuff?

People, you have to know by now that Obama could care less about this state because he's not going to win it. It has been with the GOP for the last three elections. And why would you want to win a state that has voters so ignorant that they sue to keep their Kids from having to take a shot that might save their lives.

West Virginia has the worst record in the nation for companies being sued. How can we attract new businesses to move here with a reputation like that?

Republicans say they're against abortion, but have never done anything about it.  They're no better than Democrats on abortion and I'm not going to vote for any Republicans until they actually do something about it. If we all do that, maybe that will make them actually save the unborn.

So the low capital gains tax rate is supposed to increase investment? The only thing it increases is the net worth of those who are entitled to use it. Stop these insane and immoral tax breaks!

The aftermath of these debates reminds me so much of middle school. Kids taking the smallest of things and blowing them up into major issues where none really exist and then creating drama as only they can.

We are on a collision course with tomorrow. That same tomorrow we borrowed so heavily from to make our yesterdays appear to be much better than they were. Reality beckons!

The city pays a "consultant" to study the need for "art" around the city. The state pays a "consultant" to study security at the state Capitol. I'm getting tired of seeing my tax dollars being spent for "consultants." As many people as we have on the payroll you would think at least one of them would be smart enough to count security guards and statues.

People blaming nasty Republican companies for sending jobs overseas need to get their heads out of the sand and do their homework. Research GE. Where are their products manufactured? What were their profits for the past few years? Their taxes? Their political leanings?
