The Republican partisans who write in think the Democrats and Obama will finish destroying the country if they have four more years. The Democratic partisans think the Republicans and Romney will destroy the country by finishing what Bush/Cheney started. I think both are right. That's why I am an independent. I don't have to waste my time defending [either's] insanity.
How can a Christian vote for Romney, who does not believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
Mr. Manchin, if our state is the richest state in the U.S. with natural resources, then why are our people the poorest? Stop giving it all away!
What has happened to WSAZ-TV news anchor Carrie Cline? We miss seeing her on the evening news.
Former Gov. Romney has told us many times of his successes in Massachusetts. However, governing one state is not the same as facing the problems of all 50 states, let alone the worldwide issues a president much handle. Seeing Romney on stage makes me fear for the future if he were to handle our nation's diplomacy.

This summer I noticed a lot of people riding bikes on the sidewalk in downtown Charleston. I was hit by a woman in front of Taylor Books on Capitol Street. I have heard other people complaining about it. It is against the law to ride a bike on the sidewalk. Get a helmet and take it to the street where it belongs. To the police that are downtown -- cite these people.
Romney has said that under his administration there would be zero tax on interest, dividends and capital gains which is the principal source of income of millionaires and billionaires like him and his donors. You on the other hand will pay regular rates on your wages and your deductions will be limited by some yet to be determined amount.
Obama gets up to the minute reports on his polling numbers but he's still waiting for information on what happened in Libya last month.We need a new president. Heck. We need a president period.

The first debate lost the election for President Obama. Two bright spots, however. The 2012 election will mark the beginning of the end for the Tea Party as they will be unable to accept the compromises a President Romney will be forced to make and he will be limited to one term by Hillary Clinton.
I went to get my license renewed. Lady told me to get a new birth certificate. I ordered one 20 days ago and am waiting, and waiting to get one. Now I will have to pay to renew my license. What a racket! Who can I contact about this stuff?

The city pays a "consultant" to study the need for "art" around the city. The state pays a "consultant" to study security at the state Capitol. I'm getting tired of seeing my tax dollars being spent for "consultants." As many people as we have on the payroll you would think at least one of them would be smart enough to count security guards and statues.
