You Marshall fans who get on Readers' Voice are hysterical. It is funny how you celebrate each one of our losses as if it is a Marshall win. It must be sad to have to live vicariously through other teams to do what you have never been able to do. I loved how so many of you thought it was such a great complete day for Marshall to have beaten a winless team while WVU lost. Next time you celebrate one of our losses, remember one thing -- 0-12.

I cannot believe that in the past week I have seen two vehicles being driven while the driver was holding a baby on their lap.

State officials who order the routers that cost taxpayers $1.7 million dollars with the stimulus funds should be fired from their jobs. The routers you see in the paper are no use for the State Police or any other agency. They should have used all of that money to feed the hungry children in West Virginia.

Some school districts have better schools than others. That is a fact ... . [My parents] chose South Hills. It had nothing to do with "silent bigotry." My high school had students of various nationalities, race and socio-economic background. One of my best friends was from India.

The next time the SSAC does something beneficial for kids will be the first time.

I believe it should be the duty of every voter to watch Fox News intermittently with the others. Men lie. Facts and cameras don't. After all, it's the number one news station, or does the truth hurt too bad?

The Gazette is supporting a one-term, two-man set of losers.

How can Mitt and Ann Romney relate to anyone in West Virginia? Ann Romney wore over $12,000 worth of clothes just for one evening's appearance alone. That's more money than most West Virginians make in a whole year. Do you really think they're going to do anything for us?

I admire Republican Richard Mourdoch's consistency. If he believes that a fertilized egg has a soul, then it's a human being, no matter how it was fertilized. I think he's wrong, but I admire his consistency more than W. Mitt Romney's waffling hypocrisy.

I do not believe in early voting. We've had it in Putnam County and it never works.

Why do we need to know that the men's chorale group is homosexual? Their orientation is their own business.

I feel so sorry for the person who put the ad in the paper looking for somebody to help them find who shot their Maine coon cat. A Maine coon, they call them the gentle giants of the cat world. They've never met anybody they didn't like, and I can't believe somebody would shoot a cat, much less a Maine coon who absolutely loves everybody. That just breaks my heart.
