I will be so relieved next Tuesday after the election. I will no longer feel that in my heart and soul that I have to be a surrogate for the president of the United States of America. There are way too many narrow-minded, uninformed voters who will never grasp the magnitude of the crisis this nation faced four years ago, therefore they can't possibly understand that the old policies are what almost destroyed this country. Wake up and go forward so we all prosper! Vote for Obama. I am tired.

The latest jobs report indicated more jobs had been added to the economy than expected, which is wonderful, but you know that Romney and the Republicans looked at that report and were disappointed in the good news for our country.

Our elections are increasingly becoming a choice between corporate-owned neoconservatives and socialist-leaning leftists.

Pitiful. People who get their news from make-believe "news" shows on Comedy [Central] criticizing those who get news from Fox.

Wow, it's really scary to think that Ohio could be the state that could determine who is going to be president for the next four years. Have you ever watched people from Ohio drive?

It's bad enough that the Gazette allows Republicans to post mean, nasty rants. Now the Gazette even endorsed one Republican as fit for public office.

The only difference between Greece and the United States is that they are not allowed to print money to pay for deficit spending. They are being forced to face reality. Our day of reckoning will soon follow. Fairy-tale fiscal policy cannot go on forever.

So we have some people who think everything should be restored to normal within 24 hours of a major disaster? What a spoiled, entitled and self-absorbed country we have become. Not to mention ignorant.

The way Mitt abused his own family pet, nobody in their right mind would even want to elect this guy as a dogcatcher.

I'm voting for my grandsons. I don't want them going off to fight another Republican war!

We didn't lose our power but have been without Suddenlink cable service for over three days now and they do not answer their phones. This affects our home phone service as well as Internet, so it's not about missing TV shows. If they don't fix it soon, they should not expect us to pay our bills in full either.

In countless debates with liberals, I have discovered many are very misinformed on many issues. Several cases they admitted it. Instead of trying to gain more information, they chose to stay the course and criticize the conservatives for asking questions and stirring things up.

Six months after the primary and we are still hearing about Keith Judd. I guess he's going to go down in West Virginia folklore like the Braxton County Monster, the Mothman and Sweet Alice Moore.

A lot of my family are vets, but I have about had it with everyone bashing those of us that didn't serve. You chose your path in most cases. We chose ours. I am no less a citizen, nor do you love the country any more than I do. Thanks for your service, but really, enough holding it over our heads.

If Obama bought a bottle of Nyquil, the liberal media would report he had found a cure for the common cold and the Kool-Aid-drinking supporters would all be praising him.
