What used to be newscasts have become one long political commercial with an occasional bit of news.
I heard Romney doesn't give out candy for Halloween because he's against those little kids wanting candy handouts for free without working for it or paying for it. They don't pay taxes and they aren't old enough to vote for him, so who cares about them.
I have never in my life heard one man lie as much as Romney does. The Republican party has even poor old Clint lying when he said Obama got us in Afghanistan. Bush and his minions done that. I was raised to tell the truth, but I guess that's not a big enough sin to Romney and the Republicans.
Get your facts straight. The reason that Europe is in such trouble is simply because they cannot afford all of the social programs and other entitlements that the people there have become accustomed to. That is the problem. Millions there have forgotten how to earn what they get.
I would like to thank all of the hardworking power company employees. They have a hard job and they just don't get thanked enough. However, I think that AEP is at fault for the outages. You never see routine maintenance going on. They let limbs grow through the power lines. If a tree could touch a utility line then it should be cut. ... We have had worse snows in the past and never lost power. Now the wind blows and it goes out.
Is there anyone in the Tudor's organization that can show the Oak Hill Tudor's how to fry sausage without burning it? If so will you please show them that it can be done? Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel and even McDonald's don't burn their sausage. Maybe the health department can help them.
The Medicare vouchers that Romney/Ryan support for your health care will be deemed welfare, the same as food vouchers (food stamps).
Citizens, if you have not yet decided about the leadership of this country before you go to the polls today, remember the promises of this failed president. He said if he had not brought change to this country in three years, he would be a one-term president. I intend to hold him to that statement, and pray our neighbors in Ohio will do the same.
Just a note to the defensive coordinator at our beloved WVU: Sometimes, if we happen to get a very small lead in a game again, and if it is late in the game, you may want to consider going into what is commonly called a prevent defense. This is used primarily when the opposing team is deep in its territory, thereby making it difficult to score in just seconds. Just food for thought.
I certainly hope that when Obama wins, and he will and we all know why he will win, Democrats remember their mindset after the 2004 election. 51% is not a mandate and don't act like it is. A president should be a uniter. This guy is the most divisive person to ever hold the office. He is tearing our once-great nation to pieces.
All the football games I watched Sunday had a promo for donating to the Red Cross to aid victims of the hurricane. If I make a donation, how much of it would the Red Cross executive director get?

I am afraid that Mr. Geno Smith's luck has run out. He is now playing like the average quarterback that he is. He was always overrated. The reason he look so good in the early season games was due to the defensive style of the team he played against. They let the receivers get behind them, but the last three teams figured Geno and the Dana out. ... Thank God for Austin and a better defense.
Mitt Romney is not a person, he is a product that the corporations and ultra-rich are trying to sell to the American public using the same lies and deception they use when trying to push bad goods on us.
Ollie might have a high IQ when it comes to classroom and business but in real life situations he doesn't have a clue. He is a lousy judge of people. Dana is a great offensive coordinator but he's a terrible head coach. Many fans saw that from the very beginning but the kool-aid drinkers bought into the national championship hype.
Great editorial Saturday explaining how the Republicans vote-counters plan to steal another election from the American people!
The Republican propaganda machine is good. They can even make a double-talking, animal busing, evil tycoon who likes to fire people seem like a good guy.
I see a lot of ads where politicians don't give party affiliation. It's because they're ashamed to admit they are Republicans!
This is to the poster who said that Joe Manchin "can't decide what party he represents." Perhaps Senator Manchin realizes that he doesn't represent any party -- he represents the people of the state of West Virginia.
If you'll search on Google for "2008 predictions about Obama," you'll see the hundreds of bad things Republicans said would happen if Obama were elected. None of them did. Now they're doing it again in 2012 and they will all be wrong again.
Televangelist John Hagee said Obama would make America socialist, which will hurt our grandchildren. But, for decades, Hagee has said the Rapture is going to occur any minute. Now, he's looking long term. Hagee makes money warning [that] the world's about to end, then invests it in 30-year securities.
Can someone please tell me where I can buy maps sold in West Virginia? Maybe close to Charleston or Beckley.
Amazing how many Christian leaders want their flocks to vote for someone they are sure (or at least used to be sure) would burn in hell. Political expediency is not attractive in spiritual leadership.
