CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The same coal executives with their ... "Friends of Coal" stickers would have proudly had "Friends of Asbestos" if it meant they could continue to reap massive profits on the backs of their workers.

I have never seen such disrespect to the office of President of the United States as many of you in Readers' Voice have shown to President Obama. Except Mitt Romney, of course, whose manners to the president and to world leaders are reprehensible. When you can't say anything except call an opponent by names, you have run out of arguments.

I note in today's Gazette they endorsed two Republicans out of a total of 44 endorsements. I also note the Daily Mail has endorsed seven Democrats out of 44 endorsements. So much for the objectivity of the Charleston Gazette.

To the person throwing out all your frozen food: instead of blaming AEP, maybe you should blame yourself for not being smart enough to put it all outside in the 30-degree weather. Your ineptness and loss of food is only your fault.

Romney can badmouth the President every day but that is all he knows how to do. He has no clue on how to move this country forward. That is why every time he opens his mouth the first word out is Obama!

I pay attention to two liberal news sources and two conservative news sources. The conservative sources give a more detailed report on issues, which are 99.9% accurate. Liberal sources give just enough information and twist the truth to support their agenda.

People who are saying things against AEP aren't talking about the workers. They are heaven sent. It's the CEOs that [just] think about the bottom line and will not take care of the right of ways like they should. If they just ask, I'm sure people would let them top trees outside of the right of ways also. Yes, power would still go out but not at a drop of a hat.

Individuals who each year ask their coworkers to participate as a group in Secret Santa would receive much more support if they simply listed the office name as the donor instead of listing their own name year after year.

You fools elected an out-of-state attorney general who ... has a record of defending businesses that hurt the consumer, which is you.

In losing the election, Mitt Romney became the big winner on election night. Adios, Darrell McGraw. This is long overdue.

Not that this fiasco of an election is over; each and every candidate should be required by law to remove each and every sign placed in their name with in 72 hours or face a hefty fine. The signs are trashy.

Now that Barack Hussein Obama has been re-elected, the pristine areas of West Virginia that were built by coal will be decimated. The Logan, Mingo, McDowell regional metropolitan transit system will cease operations as the tax revenue from the millionaire coal miners will be gone. The Logan airport will close. The Welch port authority will see the largest drop in cargo in history. All because of Barack Hussein Obama's war on coal.

I tried to tell you people at the Gazette, you selected the wrong person to endorse in the Putnam County circuit judge race. Your man lost the election to the better candidate.

The Tea Party fanatics just cost the Republican Party six Senate seats. God bless 'em!

Dear Senator: You have won. I support you. But I look for more support of the president as you work very hard for West Virginia.

We won the presidency. Hooray, hooray!

Gov. Mitt Romney lost the presidential election because he was a flip-flop candidate and his "disciples" were the likes of Paul Ryan, Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. President Obama was re-elected because he knows what's best for the USA and his supporters are Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Colin Powell, Chris Christie and Michael Bloomberg. Long live our great Republic!

I would like to personally thank the men from Duke Energy for the outstanding job they did in restoring our power at Tad on Campbells Creek. They did a very professional job.

The coal miners in West Virginia deserve Mitt Romney. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to reintroduce them to the concept of "scrip" and the "company store."

I think Jesse Johnson could have won the gubernatorial race if he'd promised to fire the head of Culture and History the first day on the job.

All working people need to quit and sign up for all the freebies we can have now that Obama has won. Personally I want a free cellphone with 250 free minutes.

West Virginia is in for a rude awakening. With Tomblin and Manchin distancing themselves from the president, rest assured we will not reap any benefits like the days of old with Senator Byrd! How stupid can you be?

Anything that gives Mitch McConnell a black eye cannot be all bad. The biggest hypocrite in a very large pool of them.
