Republican strategist Karl Rove threw away $400 million to lose the election and five Senate seats. God bless his little heart.

To the coal industry leaders who want less government regulations: Seems funny that you didn't have any problems with government regulations from 1998 to 2007 when you stole billions of dollars from the federal government in the form of tax credits for synthetic fuels, which you know was a scam.

I hope President Obama doesn't trust the Republican snakes who have done their best to destroy this country for two years and now say they want to work with him.

The composition of the Congress has not fundamentally changed since the re-election of President Obama. The Republican-controlled House will continue to block his plans. Nothing has changed.

America used to be in a steady decline but we are now in a full, all-out sprint to irrelevancy and destruction.

To the person who said that only lazy people voted for Obama, I have worked for 32 years, and I voted for Obama in 2008 and in 2012, and the reason I voted for him was because he was the best man for the job.

A friend of mine recently got hit in the head at the Charleston mall parking garage. I think the mall should beef up their security around the mall instead of worrying about how the floor looks.

I hope at the next Mountaineer home game, the fans choose to dress in that green-gray whatever color the uniforms were last week. It's not right. Mountaineer colors are blue and gold. Blue jerseys and gold pants or gold jerseys and blue pants.

I would like to thank the Gazette newspaper and the photographer for the Wednesday morning's front-page photograph. To me it was a photo of sheer excellence. I saw glory.

Christmas is coming, and the bell ringers are out ringing the bells to collect money and they're wanting money for toys, wanting money for this, wanting money for the poor. Well I hate to tell people, but the seniors are doing well to take care of theirselves, and there's a lot of other people like that also, so I don't know what to tell the bell ringers.
