If all the states that want to secede from the U.S. are successful, then I wonder where the remaining states will get their revenue to support all the entitlements they expect the government to hand them. Working folks are tired of supporting the non-working, give me a free ride folks.

President Obama now owns this economy, these wars, and this country's problems. The campaign is over, what he inherited from President Bush is irrelevant, and it is time to stand and deliver.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is volunteering to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Not a surprise, as liberal groups really care about America and Americans. On the other side of the coin is the Tea Party movement. What are they doing to help Americans? Nothing. They care only for themselves.

Does the president have to produce his birth certificate upon re-election and if so does it have to be the same one he never showed the first time?

I don't think anyone can truthfully say they are worse off than they were four years ago. It's exciting to think where we are headed in the future.

Here's one that won't get in there. That picture of Obama Wednesday morning after the election is nothing more than a picture of the poster child for one world order.

Mr. Obama talking about raising taxes on the rich to lower the deficit, that's not his plan. He doesn't care about the deficit. All he cares about is redistribution. That's all he's done. That's all he's run his mouth about since the day he started running for President, if you'll recall. Go ask Joe the Plumber.

Did you hear that thrice-married Newt Gingrich said that Republicans should take a break for six months and then get back into the game? That is what's wrong with the Republicans, they think that governing is a game and the only thing that matters is winning elections. They offer no solutions for the country's problems.

To the person who said Nero burned Rome, you are correct in only this fact: Nero burned Rome in order to build a palace for himself some 300 feet long and 300 feet wide. He did this for personal gain.

If I was the feds and had to put up with all this blame the West Virginia leaders are accusing them of, I would cut all ties to West Virginia and let the state pay for everything. West Virginia is one of the few states that gets more from the federal government than they pay. This means the feds are losing money on West Virginia.

Regarding Texas seceding from the United States, I'm all for it. Maybe Mexico will take you back. Adios.

It seems unfair that General Petraeus had to resign from the CIA because he might reveal secrets via pillow talk, yet the Bush/Cheney/Rove gang got off scot-free after they revealed the identity of CIA agent Valerie Wilson as a political vendetta against her husband.

It's astounding the access one little seductress was able to achieve with weak but powerful men. Do these women ever accomplish anything without using their sexuality?

Whatever 'deal' is struck between Congress and the president, you can be sure of one thing -- it will do almost nothing to address our $1 trillion structural deficit. We are long past the time when we can nibble around the edges. It is time for bold action that actually starts us back on the road to fiscal sanity. However, don't expect it to actually happen.

In his first speech after the president won re-election, House Speaker Boehner said, "I'm not going to draw a line in the sand." And then he turned around and drew a line in the sand, and then he said higher taxes on the wealthy are unacceptable, when he knew that the president campaigned on it.

It occurs to me that President Obama believes that I am wealthy because I make a little more than $250,000 a year. That amazes me because I make that amount of money because I work very hard and struggle to get an education. If they take me down, they'll take you down next, all you folks who make about $100,000 a year. You will become the wealthy.
