Do any of the remaining members of state Board of Education think that their abrupt and unexplained firing of Dr. Marple will convince any teacher that annual reviews or any other performance evaluation will be objective, unbiased, and free from political pressure?

To the conservatives crying about President Obama being in office four more years: What about the rest of us? We had to deal with a complete fool in the White House between 2000 and 2008, and, to make it worse, he was never legally elected; the election of 2000 was stolen from Al Gore in Florida, and the election of 2004 was stolen from John Kerry in Ohio.

I'm so glad to see Karl Rove calls in to our Readers' Voice. After all, he's the only human in the United States that thinks we were blessed under Bush's leadership. I bet you ask those 4,000 young men and women who lost their life in that needless war wouldn't say we were blessed.

The whole Manchin family is despicable in their treatment of others. Their treatment of Fred Armstrong, their daughter being the cause of the dismissal of educators, the firing of Jorea Marple, orchestrated by Gayle Manchin. They do what they want like dictators. They are like a pestilence breeding anarchy and unhappiness wherever they go. Whatever Gayle Manchin wants, Gayle gets, even if it ruins innocent people's lives.

You know, to all the Democrats in office out there right now, depending on how it goes with this fiscal cliff thing, Mr. Obama doesn't have to run for office again. They do. So they'd better make doggone good sure they're not making a big mess up by following this down over the cliff.

I wanted to thank the state road for getting Morrison Street took care of. It's a good job and we don't have any more holes to dodge.

I love Elizabeth Warren. She's brilliant and she's beautiful.

What gives the Department of Education the right to order their employees not to talk to the press after the unethical firing of Dr. Marple and the apparent hiring of Mr. Phares? Phew. This action smells to high heavens.

The callers who are ridiculing the contemporary secessionists are missing the whole point. This is a protest against a too-powerful central government, and it is, indeed, too powerful.

I watched Chris Christie on TV today. Maybe he will be the Republicans' next candidate for president. I always vote Republican and I feel really good about that because I figure he could capture the obesity vote.

Someone called in saying we were blessed for eight years with President Bush's leadership. Now we are cursed for eight years with Obama. What planet are you from? The country was totally bankrupt when he left. Are you the same person who wrote in and said God sent us Hurricane Sandy to punish us for electing Obama? No wonder people are staying away from churches. You must listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Fox News.

About the superstorm, God is in control of the weather and he uses it to get our attention whether we like it or not. You liberals need to learn something from that.

I surely hope that West Virginia tries to get Maryland's place in the ACC and go to a conference where they can win another football game ... Please, West Virginia, do the smart thing. Get out of the Big 12. Go to the ACC.

All right. This week the Mountaineers at least finally put up an effort. Going into the last two games with the two worst teams in the Big 12 conference should give them a little confidence to at least get six wins and go to a bowl. I guess it seems funny to say, though, huh? Holgorsen, that was a good nine million there, huh?

So many people calling in to the Readers' Voice use such poor grammar. I know we studied proper grammar in school, but some group declared President Obama does not "have enough sense to pour you know what out of a boot with the instructions wrote on the side." Didn't you ever hear the word?
