After watching the news on Black Friday, I have decided that the human race is a greedy bunch of mob-rule idiots.

If they ever catch that "dice" graffiti vandal, the best punishment would be to make him scrub away the graffiti while wearing a sign that says, "I am a graffiti vandal." That kind of shame would work much better than fines or jail time.

When Manchin fired Fred Armstrong and closed the West Virginia Rehab Center, people came out to the tree lighting ceremony to protest. Let's do that for Jorea Marple. I can assure you, Randall Reid-Smith will have the audacity to sing while protesters wave signs.

We need government to be effective, and Friday's news story of a 71-year-old dentist owing $400,000 on his student loans from the 1980s is outrageous. He makes nearly $30,000 a month and is only paying $3,000 a month off his loan. He may not be typical, but 2.2 million over age 60 owe $43 billion, averaging $19,500 each. Government collection should be much more aggressive, particularly for borrowers who seem intent on running out the clock on their obligation.

Who is responsible for the upheaval at the railroad crossings? They were quick to tear them up, but it's been that way for months now. Any plans to repair what you damaged?

Yes, there are more people wanting answers about Benghazi than a couple of GOP congressmen. The fact that you had to ask your question only shows how misinformed you are on important issues.

Maybe all of the people complaining they cannot make ends meet should look at the money they spend on cellphones and contracts for them. Astonishing that civilization made it as long as we did without them.
