The outrageous contract just given to Huggins at WVU is another of the many reasons why my support of my alma mater has ended. Someone else can support the ongoing madness.
To the venter who asked why God made us this way. God gave us a free will and a manual -- the Holy Bible. Read the manual.
I am using this time to say how sorry I am to John Raese for not voting for him. I promise you, sir, I will not ever vote for Manchin again.
I applaud young Mr. Culvyhouse for saying about the self-aggrandizing Marshall plane crash memorial services what so many of us have thought for a long time.
As much as I relish seeing both Jorea Marple and husband Attorney General McGraw unemployed and believe both were a long time in coming, her firing is just the latest in a long line of self-serving political maneuvers by the Manchin machine to benefit themselves, their family and their circle of friends.
What little respect I had left for the decision-making ability of Oliver Luck just went out the building with the contract he gave Bob Huggins.
For Thanksgiving prayer, my grandson gave thanks that WVU has only lost five games.
Congress is out of sync with the American people. Democratic candidates for U.S. Congress received a majority of the vote, but Republicans keep their stranglehold control.
Do not sell short those of us that agree with Romney about the 47 percent. We are many, and we will vote again. The takers elected Mr. Obama, but they can't do it again. One day we will get leadership that will see to it that citizens work for their benefits. Hope that day comes sooner than later.

After watching the news on Black Friday, I have decided that the human race is a greedy bunch of mob-rule idiots.
If they ever catch that "dice" graffiti vandal, the best punishment would be to make him scrub away the graffiti while wearing a sign that says, "I am a graffiti vandal." That kind of shame would work much better than fines or jail time.
When Manchin fired Fred Armstrong and closed the West Virginia Rehab Center, people came out to the tree lighting ceremony to protest. Let's do that for Jorea Marple. I can assure you, Randall Reid-Smith will have the audacity to sing while protesters wave signs.
We need government to be effective, and Friday's news story of a 71-year-old dentist owing $400,000 on his student loans from the 1980s is outrageous. He makes nearly $30,000 a month and is only paying $3,000 a month off his loan. He may not be typical, but 2.2 million over age 60 owe $43 billion, averaging $19,500 each. Government collection should be much more aggressive, particularly for borrowers who seem intent on running out the clock on their obligation.
Lose five games and life ain't worth livin', but win one game and all is forgiven! A coach who loses five games is a louse, but win one game and he's out of the doghouse.
Who is responsible for the upheaval at the railroad crossings? They were quick to tear them up, but it's been that way for months now. Any plans to repair what you damaged?
Yes, there are more people wanting answers about Benghazi than a couple of GOP congressmen. The fact that you had to ask your question only shows how misinformed you are on important issues.
Maybe all of the people complaining they cannot make ends meet should look at the money they spend on cellphones and contracts for them. Astonishing that civilization made it as long as we did without them.
