CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- I believe Dr. Marple was fired for being too honest for the majority of the school board members. She was let go for not condoning their shady dealings. The education of our children is no place for dirty politics.

Apparently conservatives have not yet realized one simple fact: President Obama knows what he is doing.

Multitudes of sins are mentioned in the Bible, but certainly not condoned or justified. My Bible teaches love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control & forgiveness. 2 Timothy 3:16 states "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for instruction in righteousness."

It sounds like there are some feuding women on the State Board of Education. If you get a bunch of feuding women like that, it's all over.

There was an article in the Sunday paper on page 6B about a free, West Virginia wildflower "Roadsides in Bloom" calendar now available for order. It did not include any information about who to contact to order this publication. Anyone have any information?

Hooray for Dr. Marple. Being honest has gotten more than one McGraw fired from their job.

Gas prices went up over a dollar during Obama's first four years of leadership. Recently they dropped 15 cents and the Kool-Aid drinking liberals started praising him for lowering the price.

Concerning the firing of Marple, it appears the reason is one as old as time: greed.

I noticed a picture of the W.Va. Board of Education at work and Gayle Manchin was sitting up front to the right of Wade Linger. My guess she was close so she could pull his puppet strings. You may hear his voice but I bet Gayle is the one speaking.

So what happens if there is no deal on the "fiscal cliff?" Taxes go up for everyone. Expenses are cut across the board. We slice our budget deficit in half. Can't really see a downside here.
