Kudos to the NYPD police officer who bought a homeless man a pair of boots and socks and helped him put them on. That is what everyone should do every day of the year because God is love and he created us all to have that kind of love, not just at Christmastime.

I agree with the comment about Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid. That was hilarious. It made my evening. I laughed so hard that I cried. Now come up with one about Nancy Pelosi, Patty Murray, Obama and Biden. When you come up with it, please call it in to the Vent Line.

To the people who think Obama is so great: Hold on to your behinds because in four more years we won't have a country.

Do something for our God to bring more people to salvation. Live the life of a true follower of Jesus Christ and that will overcome all, according to God's will.

Barack Obama tried, but he didn't fool about 49 percent of Americans. It speaks for itself.

AEP should stop advertising and spend that money to cut trees that interfere with the lines. All of U.S. 60 has lines completely covered up with trees, but they are too ignorant to look up and see it.

The filming of "Buckwild" in Sissonville is the same place where people raised a stink about prayer before football games. Looks like the chickens have come home to roost nationally now that there is no prayer.

The post office in Ripley is fine. If you can't get into the post office to get your mail, have someone get it for you. There are probably only 10 people in all of Jackson County who are handicapped. The country can't be run by the minority. It is disgusting.

Is there anyone in the Charleston area that can redo big home stereo speakers? I mean the old big ones.

I would like to comment on the vent that said the American people didn't vote for Obama. I'll tell you, I for one am an American. I'm an educated American with a master's degree. I taught school for 34 years and was in the military for 21 years. I voted for Obama because I know the issues. That person who called in was ignorant.

Start picking up those child molesters in Kanawha County. When will the prosecutor enforce the laws?

Who are the thieves selling their copper wire to? Surely the purchasers know it is stolen merchandise, so go after the buyers.
