A "president" pulls a country together. Not apart. Obama has divided this country in ways never thought possible in the past. If and when he acts like a "president," I might consider referring to him as "The President." Until then he will be just plain ol' Obama.

Our do-nothing congressional representatives should be required to do a certain amount of productive work each month just like all the other welfare recipients.

To the nice lady who bought items at our yard sale in Campbells Creek last week and insisted that we take an extra $20 to help on a project we're doing for the homeless vets in Barboursville, we will go there this Friday. May God bless you. We thank you and mission is accomplished. We need more people like you.

Why are we really concerned about the war in Afghanistan? This thing is eating up our financial larder in the U.S. and we are going into debt more and more every day. We are losing men and women every day. Why don't we protest a little more instead of just still talking about the election that just passed?

We are so tired of hearing so many commercials on TV for men's catheters. Keep it to yourself, guys.

How stupid for someone to write that a bunch of feuding women caused the problem on the state Board of Education.

Those voting for President Obama's re-election so he can tax money off of all of us to give to you better give it some more thought. You probably need to get more education. Take a second job. It's not going to go down that easy.

Huggins, you have a team that can't hit the broadside of a barn door from the three-point zone. The solution to those of us who have coached girls' basketball is simple. Move the men to the two-point zone.

Mitt Romney, a true American, went out and bought an Audi, a foreign car ... Another typical Republican.
