Reporter Mackenzie Mays wrote an excellent article Sunday explaining the no bid contract history of the Manchin administration and his appointees to the state Board of Education. So, what do we believe ... the facts or the cover-up excuses? It's dirty illegal politics as usual in West Virginia.

President Obama has not divided this country. The Republican Party said no the minute our president was elected in 2008 and they continue to say no to anything our president suggests, even if they agree, they say no. The Republicans have divided themselves from our country. Interestingly enough, Republicans saying no did not prevent our President Obama from winning a second term. Their plan did not work.

How refreshing to see the amazing photo of the saddlebred horse with the young lady aboard. We have owned and showed saddlebreds and know the work and rewards of working with these amazing animals. A tip of our hat to this fine young lady, her family and the hard work that goes into being successful.

I disagree with the person who said President Obama has divided this country in ways never seen before.
