To the caller who questioned whether or not to blow the leaves out in the street: You are supposed to blow them curbside. If they end up in the street due to the wind, you cannot dictate what direction the wind will blow, according to what God says.
The only reason our politicians can't get anything done is they can't make hard decisions like cutting people off all these easy-street programs that are out there. You know, not enough working people.
There is no difference between a parasite collecting food stamps than a union worker. They both want something for nothing.
All West Virginians need to relocate to Shelley Moore Capito's district. All the people there must be millionaires. God knows I would like to be one. She is not going to vote for 98 percent of us to have our taxes at the current level. She wants to make sure that the 2 percent of millionaires have their tax cuts. So they must be all rich people in her district.
I see that Republicans want to raise the age of Medicare insurance to age 67. They want me to do without insurance for two years in my older years, but they will not cut one penny from buying new rockets, defense spending.
About the explosion we had in Sissonville, I'd like to congratulate the workers, the working-class people, for the job they did getting the road back up and running by 8 a.m. the next morning. Wouldn't it be nice if our politicians could solve problems as quick as our working people can?
Why did the American people elect a Marxist racist to be president? Probably an Indonesian citizen. Are we crazy?
I see where Michigan has passed a right-to-work law. When is West Virginia going to pass a right-to-work law? I see all these labor union thugs have resorted to violence in Michigan and they did so in Wisconsin. Typical liberal labor unions.
What the person meant to say was that when Marshall does go to a bowl game, they generally win. Look it up. Quit being so jealous, WVU. You know you lose to every 6-6 team coming and going in a bowl. Marshall has only been in the class 1-A for less than 15 years, and in that time span, the ballgames they've won vs. the bowl games that West Virginia's won, percentagewise, it's embarrassing for West Virginia. So if you can't get your facts straight then don't even say anything.

For heaven's sake, please tell the state Board of Education not to waste the public's money conducting a national search for a new state superintendent of schools. Clearly they have already decided to appoint Jim Phares to replace the sacrificial Jorea Marple.
Did the person who was so worried about the Boone County deputy sheriff being at Southridge, did you happen to think that it's almost Christmastime and maybe he was getting toys for underprivileged children?
It is wrong to ever think that it is the responsibility of the government to permanently support people's every want, wish and need. If someone needs temporary help to get back on their feet, then do it, no question. But if they think that we owe them to support them for their entire lifetime, they are sadly mistaken and lazy.
Anyone else notice that a lot of TV commercials have gotten very loud since the new law went into effect this week that limits audio level of advertisement and political ads to that of the program audio level? They must be testing enforcement of the new law.
I believe this is the last election we'll see for a while on how much you can give me or what you can give me to get my vote. Fifty-one percent of the people live off of the other 49, and they voted for Obama because he gives them the free stuff. Now the unions and all the stuff is coming to an end, so the free stuff will start going away. They're going to have to go to work.
Hey, you Democrats In Name Only, have some smart Democrat read the Joe Biden editorial page today. Then they can read it to you and explain it to you what it means to all of us. It's bad news.
Many thanks to Bayer at the Institute plant for not having the annual Christmas dinner, a tradition since the plant's beginning. It was the one time we could count on seeing old friends. Merry Christmas to those I didn't get to see.
The water spout along MacCorkle Avenue, which was contributed by the Division of Highways employee not adhering to the rule "Call before you drill" -- are they exempt?
Don't you just love our first black president? He ought to be back in Chicago organizing a block party. It's about the only thing he's ever organized in his life.
Good luck to the West Virginia Mountaineers in this year's Beef O'Brady Bowl, or I mean Pinstripe Bowl.
