Come on people, let's get real. It's not the gun that shoots the people, it's the person with the gun who shoots the people.

One reason our country appears to be turning away from God is because preachers who are sticking their noses into politics. They should be teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help the people live a better life and understanding ... instead of hate for certain politicians.

I'm a union liberal and I understand your comment about more tax money. But you don't seem to understand the first part of your comment about non-union meaning lower wages. Do you want to live on less money?

I agree with the Republicans in the House and Senate. Keep out all the aliens and kick out all undesirables. After all, the American Indians let in the Europeans and they are still regretting it!

Why wouldn't we at least try gun control? We can always go back to the way things are now if it doesn't work out. There is absolutely nothing to lose by trying it and everything to possibly gain.

Miners vote to give themselves less safety by endorsing candidates [who] state falsehoods about coalmines. Corporations do not want to pay for their safety, thus [they] blame job losses on mine safety government enforcement. Your job must be more important than being home with your kids after work .... Best of luck.

The thought of going over the cliff is a good idea put forth by the GOP. It will hurt the poorest 47 percent of Americans .... Since West Virginia is full of millionaires, this state will not be affected. This great leap is OK since the state voted GOP.

We are all Americans. Forget Democrat and Republican. The election is over, so suck it up. Quit your whining ... and do something positive. Volunteer, help a needy family, pick up some trash. Just do something to help your fellow man and community. Our country is not going down because we are survivors .... If you can't say good things, don't say anything at all.
