Sure, guns take lives, but in the case of the Newtown, Conn., school shootings if school principals and counselors would have had gun permits and been allowed to carry guns on school property, 20 innocent children and six adult lives could have possibly been saved. Guns also save lives.

Phil Kabler also doesn't know the difference between coincidentally and ironically. He needs to go back to journalism school.
All the people wanting right-to-work need to apologize now for the future generations of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. Low wages, no health care or retirement. All the money saved by the company will go to the CEO's salary.
I see where Joe Manchin wants to change the gun laws. He'll do anything to get attention. It won't be long before he'll be wanting to borrow the guns from our military.
To the privileged people who think they are too good to obey the law that instead of turning right from Lucado Road to U.S. 119, so they would rather hold up the law-obeying people so they can make an illegal left turn across two lanes of traffic and then wait for traffic to clear so they can proceed. I ask why are you above the law?
To the person who said that every state should be a right-to-work state, if that happens workers will get wages of $5 to $8 an hour.
We're in debt far enough. Sixteen trillion and we're still going wide-open running. No more spending. I'm with the Republicans that want to stop the spending. As an independent I say it's time to quit.
If you think getting rid of a union will create more jobs then the rich men have got you where they want you. They want to get rid of the unions so they can put the money in their pockets that they save.
I am convinced that all senseless killings that are being done today are the result of the violent videos and movies that are flooding our screens today. People don't respect life anymore.
Dick's Sporting Goods has just suspended sales of guns in all of its stores across the United States. I hope more stores and businesses follow this lead. We need to get rid of the guns in this country.
I guess because Garrison Avenue is not a part of South Hills or Kanawha City, the mayor or the street department is not going to repair the road. It is caving in about four or five areas. This needs addressed as soon as possible.
Little boys play with cap pistols. When they get older they play with BB guns. As adults they play with assault rifles. The only difference is the price of their toys.
I heard on the news that it might take time to get a bill together to ban assault weapons. For 10 years we had a bill. They let it expire. How long does it take to dump that off their computer, change the date on it and send it up to Congress? They ought to have it by noon tomorrow if they want to do it.
