With the shooting and the cold blooded murders of all of those teachers and children at the Sandy Hook School, I have a question? Throughout all of the media coverage and the past accounts of past school shootings, nothing was stated about the Waco tragedy.
Dear NRA, when the Second Amendment was written, the most lethal weapon available was the musket. Sincerely, Common Sense.
The NRA and the 'no tax increase' Republicans have just about lost all of their credibility with a majority of Americans. Their reasoning has become lame, predictable, and inexcusable.
The idiotic GOP have got themselves into such a corner concerning taxes that they have to vote to raise taxes to avert the largest tax increase in history. Only the terminally stupid could pull a stunt like that.
Sounds like Mountain State Justice wants to house these criminals in hotel suits with big screen TVs, Xboxes and Mountain Dew. They forget these young people have committed crimes and must be shown the appropriate penalty for their felonious acts.
Our president and Congress that now enjoy Christmas in Hawaii and various other locations are of the same ilk that has failed to protect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the postal service over the years. But you can bet your behind the illegals and the faked "disabled" and career welfare recipients flourish.
Oh the hypocrisy and tyranny of Christmas. A waitress comes up and begins by complaining that people are not tipping enough, "you think they would have the spirit of the season," she says. This self-expectant attitude illustrates that this wicked season is all about a scheme of mandatory, demanded giving for reciprocal getting.
The GOP should change their name to the POC (Party of Clowns). Ronald Reagan is probably rolling over in his grave.
The NRA and all the gun nuts want to arm every one, and hire armed security guards for our schools, churches and all public functions. Obviously, that would sell a lot of guns. A marketing opportunity. Following that logic, we should all drive drunk, and there would be no more drunken driving offenses.
Someone said that for 11 years in a row that Fox News was number one in the ratings. Who voted them number one? And who said they were a news agency? What I hear on there is the Republican propaganda machine. They're not news. They just give Rush Limbaugh-ish news, not news that's news. It's just their slant on the news.
I'm not from around here but you West Virginia Democrats amaze me. You call in chew Manchin one side and down the other over something he did or didn't do but you won't vote for a Republican candidate.

With regards to the cruel heinous killing of innocent children, most of the people I talk on a daily basis, even those who are not particularly religious, have no problem believing that angels watch the earth. But most of them have a real hard time believing that demons walk the earth also.
Sen. Manchin finally showed some guts and courage on Monday and the NRA squashed it by Tuesday.
I never thought I'd say this and I've never been a supporter of Joe Manchin, but he has shown some common sense on this gun debate on how to control things and how to set things right. I applaud him and will support him from here on out.
Like most people we like to file our taxes in February since we have a simple return. Well, this year it's not going to happen folks. It may be March or April before you're able to do those returns because the IRS doesn't know what forms to use because Congress cannot seem to understand or fix anything and Obama is un-giving. So if you're looking forward to that tax return, you'll get it sometime in the summer unless Congress does something by Jan. 1.
Most politicians lack common sense. We need to start electing people to office that have common sense.
I wish someone would take into considering to replacing the Public Service Commission because they have too much power. They give the people, like the water company, too much leeway to much money, of raising our water bills by 20 percent. Are they crazy? They need to do something about this and I can't believe that they're considering even raising it.
I heard that the new 511 is only for interstates. I think the governor ought to bring it down where it comes down on secondary roads. For instance, if you live out on W.Va. 4, or something like that it ought to be included too.
Looks like thousands of you people that went on disability Social Security for a few months, long enough to vote for Obama. Now he's going to call everybody in and have a re-examination and cut you off.
My daughter teaches school in a remote pod, a trailer kept unlocked with no emergency warning system. Open season for her and your kids.
For those of us that work a job with a fiscal year deadline, August was our vacation month. The board of education just took that way from us. Thanks so much.
