The Republicans don't want to raise taxes on anybody, but if we go over the fiscal cliff it will raise taxes on everybody.
E.J. Dionne had it right when he stated that the current Republican majority in the House of Representatives cannot govern. Republicans had better wake up and realize that their refusal to compromise and apparent willingness to go over the fiscal cliff will shatter the Republican Party for years to come.
I live in Rand. I have no water on Christmas morning. I cannot brush my teeth. I cannot go to the bathroom comfortably. There is no place open to get any water so that I can do any of the above, but it's still a good Christmas. Merry Christmas, all.
I don't know how happy your Christmas was, but I'm sure it was a merry one in China. Why do we persist in buying all that imported trash?
The reader is wrong about gun-toting teachers. The intruder would bring a semiautomatic or worse, plus you could have ricocheting bullets; plus, students can grab guns.
Instead of supplying guns to the schools, why don't you supply stun guns? Then you could stun the idiots that try to wreak havoc and keep stunning them until the police get there. That would work.
I know a felon is a felon, but please explain to me why child molesters still get food stamps.

I'm replying to Capito's remarks that she supports coal. I would like to know what part she supports. Doing away with environmental problems? Bigger equipment so we can do away with manpower? Subsidize them so they can charge more for electricity?
Tell Mr. CEO of the gun association if it was his kid that was gunned down, he would do something about gun control.

For people to actually celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ is wonderful and patriotic. However, to take vacation when this country is severely disabled and call it a holiday is, in one of Obama's favorite terms, outrageous.
Is there any way to sue the United States military? Does anyone know this? My son went to Afghanistan and was in the Navy, and while he was there his wife had an affair, and now he has come home and he's a homosexual now. Is there any recourse to sue for this?
