Grover Norquist is more powerful than anyone in the West Virginia delegation to our federal government. I used to think senators and representatives were extremely powerful.

Hooray for Dr. Marple. I hope she can get some jail time for the president and vice president of the Board of Education.

Yes, the president got re-elected because the country is obviously not as stupid as some. And I paid out of my pocket as did millions of Americans to see that he did get elected. Move if you are that miserable.

Time travel is possible. Watch as West Virginia proves it, moving toward a conservative "red" state. As the rest of the country moves toward a more liberal, diverse country, we regress to the era of the KKK. It's the 1920s here in West Virginia.

For the worriers who needlessly ranted and raved for the last six months about the fiscal cliff, looks like you are going to have to find something else to occupy your time. Maybe don't dwell on gloom and doom so much and try to get out and enjoy life a little.

There are those in government who would like to see our form of government changed to some sort of totalitarian dictatorship. As long as many of us are armed, they dare not try it. Thus, the movement to strip all of us of our right to keep and bear arms. I know it sounds paranoid, but history gives us plenty of examples and Obama is just untrustworthy enough to be thinking this very thing.

To the person complaining about AEP's response to outages and three months waiting on streetlight repair, I have been trying to get the two streetlights that border my home repaired for four years, so good luck with that. AEP is the worst-run company in this state. Maybe Congress is in control of AEP.

Why do they keep saying trooper when they mention the man that got thrown from the car when the lady was shoplifting? Yes she did wrong but the man was off duty and out of uniform. I consider him just another person when not on the job. Are they trying to get the people against the lady even more? Are they going to charge her with hurting an officer? I feel this is wrong, How did she know he was a trooper?
