OK, I'm sitting here at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday watching the news, and they're talking about another school shooting down in St. Louis or somewhere. How long are these idiots at the board of education going to take to put armed guards in these schools to protect our children?

After having a parent who is physically impaired, I discovered a gas bill that was behind. I called the gas company and they informed me if I did not pay it that my mother's gas would be turned off. She is on oxygen, an invalid, and this is very, very upsetting.

Years from now politicians will still be saying we need to cut the deficit and get our fiscal house in order. I see where the NRA will not allow gun regulations to be passed and I wonder when they have become an elected office. I sincerely hope a baseball scholarship will be established at West Virginia State University in memory of trooper Eric Workman, who was killed in the line of duty. I understand that he was a standout on their baseball team and also a graduate of WVSU. He was a fine young man whose life was cut way too short and deserves this tribute.

Yeah, why do they put police officers on administrative leave after they kill someone? Well, they just need time to clean their gun and put a notch into the handle. So that takes a little while so then they put them back on duty.
