At the risk of sounding callous, when did obesity constitute being able to park in a handicapped zone?

All you people who think it's necessary to carry a gun because of the Second Amendment and our forefathers: Back then it was necessary to carry a gun because that's the way they eat. You can buy your stuff in the grocery store now. So give up your guns.

So the president is Satan. He wants to ban the Constitution and he wants to take all of our guns. I'm not sure how people can even exist day to day in such a haze of ignorance and hatred and bigotry. But you can believe they all have automatic weapons.

An interesting report from St. Louis in the paper. Two hundred and fifty arrests were made in Missouri last year. Only half of the suspects were taken into custody. Overburdened police can't keep up. How's this secularism working out for us, America?

I hear so much about what people should do when buying a gun. How about a doctor's report? They can have a doctor's report making sure they're of sound mind.

I am a disabled senior citizen. I do have a small home and the property taxes on it are horrendous and a good portion of what I pay goes to the Board of Education. I don't think I should have to pay for someone else's children when I'm a senior citizen. I have no children in school.

 To the person who wrote about the gas company talking about cutting her mother's gas off: If she's an invalid, there should be a way that she should get help and the daughter should check into that.

Your editorial praised the president for "letting" gays serve in the military. Actually, gays have always served. The president enabled "openly gay" men and women to serve. My brother, a retired Lt. Colonel, says some of the finest soldiers with whom he served in Vietnam were gay and outstanding members of the military.

A message to all of West Virginia and all the little children in government: First and foremost we are human beings, God's children, then we are West Virginians and Americans, and most assuredly we are affiliated with a political party last. Let's live how Christ taught us. Love thy neighbor.

To Kanawha County sheriffs: How come Kanawha County deputies are on the Boone County side up in White Oak pulling people over?

I want to compliment the Charleston Newspapers for their recent, excellent wild bird and nature photographs. The pictures are beautiful and the captions are accurate and informative.

The Republicans are so behind in the real world. They don't believe in a decent wage for their employees. They don't believe in health care. Don't believe in the minimum wage. They don't believe in global warming. It's no wonder they lost the election.
