How does anything the Obama administration is bragging about help me pay the high prices of food, gas, medicine and utilities? Answer that, Obamacrats.

If the Board of Education would get rid of the dead weight, they wouldn't need all those bonds and keep raising our property taxes.

To those who are concerned about homosexuals joining the Boy Scouts, you don't have to worry about the safety of a homosexual in the Boy Scouts. You have to worry about heterosexual adults who are pedophiles.

For those who think the Bible is a myth, how would you explain the Bible stating that as time goes on people will get more evil? Aren't people more wicked today than they were just 10 years ago? Please explain that.

Why doesn't the county commission do something about the junkyard in the woods on West Washington Street in the Cross Lanes area?

Rhonda Stewart makes the news and paper again. You kill a dog, you get more time than what she's gotten for killing her husband.

The paper stated that the Kanawha schools approved a half-million dollars for roof repair work. A few days ago our government approved a loan to Syria for $155 million. If my math is right, we could have done 148 roof jobs for our schools. I wonder if our government has considered giving the United States some aid money. We sure need it.

Does anyone know who gave the Putnam County Fire Board authority to increase the fee from $25 to $37.50? The numerous amount of homes being built in the county, one would think the fee would be less.

I sure wish we could get Dr. Mickey Blackwell to come back to Kanawha County. Horace Mann really needs him. We should never have let Dr. Blackwell go to Roane County.

How does Sen. Kirkendoll manage to receive his senator's salary, a PEIA pension and contract wages from the county? Isn't this triple dipping?

The U.S. Postal Service is outrageously costly and wasteful. It's time the service be cut back. It could be easily cut back by one day and other management measures can be taken.
