It appears we will never have any compromise between the GOP and Democrats in Congress. Thus we will stay stagnated, no matter what party holds the White House. Only if one party controls both Congress and the White House will any movement be made. And that leads to bad laws and bad decisions. Compromise is the only way forward ... [but] it appears practically impossible. A third political party ... may be our only salvation.

Look around as you drive. The "no text" law has had little effect on the number of people texting while driving. Tomblin claiming he has saved lives with the law was comical. Guess he was desperate to say something positive about his time in office.

The City of Charleston is determined to ruin the Kanawha Boulevard. The proposed bike lane between Magic Island and Patrick Street is a waste of time and money. The bike lane will be rarely used, the green space won't be properly maintained by the city and the boulevard is narrow enough as is, plus the loss of street parking.

Why ban all guns? Why don't we just ban all automobiles? Look at the children who are killed by them.

This is for the hunters of West Virginia who don't belong to the NRA: You know that in some countries you've got to go downtown [and] sign your gun out to go hunting? That's what we need, don't we?

About the LAPD officer who was fired, Dorner, and went berserk and was killing all these people: Why was he fired? They just say he was fired and it goes on and on and it never tells you anything about why.

People better start thinking and study up on history. What was the first thing Hitler did, or one of the many things that he did? Took away the people's guns.

If it comes to believing Eva Knapp or Ted Nugent, Ted wins hands down, no contest.

What happened to Deborah Linz on WCHS? Jennifer is so much better and speaks so we can understand her. I hope Deborah never returns.
