Thanks to the person about the answer on Deborah Linz being in Dayton, Ohio. On your comment about the iPhones and computers being useless, you might be interested to know that not everyone can afford iPhones and computers, nor do they want them.
I despise Dollar Danny. He's done nothing for the average Charleston [resident]. His wealthy, snooty pals love him for making sure South Hills is always taken care of first. Meanwhile, we cannot get the city to fix human-sized potholes over near the Bigley Foodland.
Everyone seems to be asking who will pay if the federal cuts take place. The question should be: Who will pay if spending isn't cut and revenues don't rise? Future generations will be completely paralyzed by the debt burden <t40>...<t$> if we do not quit living beyond our means.
Federal agencies complaining they cannot handle 5 to 8 percent budget cuts need to look at some state governments and many private companies. They've been dealing with cuts far greater than that for years.
Gas prices will start to come down as soon as oil companies think their government subsidies are no longer threatened. Then they'll go up again if their pipeline is rejected.
During the 2008 campaign, when Michelle Obama said that "for the first time in my life, I am proud of my country," Rush Limbaugh and his puppet Republican Party criticized her as unpatriotic. Rush Limbaugh today said that he is ashamed of his country.
At age 68, I can no longer climb high in tree stands. ... Compared to a young man, I am at a disadvantage when archery hunting. If it would be legal to use a crossbow when archery hunting, I could look forward to a more enjoyable hunting experience. The DNR would have to recommend this to the Legislature.
The president told the Republicans to put the meat cleaver away. It's time someone told him to ditch the Santa Claus suit and the big credit card.
The U.S. has said that we will place sanctions on countries that engage in cyber-espionage. Does that mean that we are going to place sanctions on ourselves? Oh, sorry, I forgot. There's one set of rules for the U.S., and another set of rules for the rest of the world.
Shelley Moore Capito is a member of a dysfunctional Congress that has the worst rating ever, and she wants us to elect her to the Senate. Not on my vote.
In 2010, 38,329 people died from drug overdoses in the United States. Outlaw drugs, not guns! Oh wait, we have outlawed drugs. How has that worked out for you?
I am one of the "all of you people" who voted for President Obama and thank God we are getting what this country deserves. Finally, a president who is intelligent.

Darrell McGraw brought money to West Virginia and was a friend of consumers. I always received help in a timely, friendly manner. Morrisey is asking for money and has said nothing about helping West Virginians.
To the [reader] who said if armed guards are not the answer in schools, then the guards should be taken off the president's children: Would you be saying the same thing about a white president's children?
I read that Shelley Capito's Republican friends question Chuck Hagel's competency. Too bad they didn't question George W. Bush's competency. If they did, perhaps more than 4,000 fine American service members would be alive today.
Every time I attend a performance at the Clay Center, I promise myself I won't go back. Someone needs to get himself together. "Lord of the Dance" was ruined by the horrible lighting and the fact you couldn't see the dancers' feet because of the lights on the audience.
Read the full-page ad NRA had in the paper and facts are something they're not familiar with. If a gun database would be the worse violation in history of peoples rights, what about the Patriot Act? Which is worse, and why would a law-abiding citizen worry about a background check?
"It is easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they have been fooled."--Mark Twain
You people who advertise your business on Facebook need to put the correct information out there.
Well, to the military historian who says with great authority, civilians can't fight an army, I wonder what the Vietnamese would think of that? How about the Afghans? They [ran off the] Russians. We're in the process of getting run off. <t40>...<t$> Check your history books, there, military specialist.
After reading the Gazette's editorial today, God gave women the right to reproduce, not the Supreme Court. I'd say the Supreme Court has a huge debt to pay one day.
Yeah, they're wanting to legalize and bring the immigrants in and make them a part of the United States. We have no jobs here. What are they supposed to live on? Gas prices are up. Food's up. When's it going to end? ... Bush started all of this stuff.
For the person who said that Obama just traveled around the world and burned up gas, well you should take a look at Congress. They worked fewer days last year than any known Congress in history. Now who do you think paid for that? ... The taxpayers.
