Again, the president has no control over the price of gas. It is the greedy oil companies who are mostly owned by Republicans. They are robbing the public blind and at the same time getting millions in handouts from the Republicans in Congress.

House of Representatives pension $7,365.82 a month. Get elected, get money.

A 20-year janitor at Whitesville school got almost $1,000 a month pension. Policeman in the newspaper gets more than $1,500. I worked 23 years in coal mines represented by the United Mine Workers. My pension is $330 a month. So if you want to get a big pension like me, work where the UMW will help you.

I hope that Anne Barth either challenges Shelley Moore Capito for the Senate or runs for the House seat that will be opening up.

I was looking in the Sunday Gazette at all the concealed weapons permits. I hope the sorry punk criminals are on the business end of that deal.

Does anyone know a restaurant in the Charleston area that serves soft-shelled crab when they come into season?

I tried to watch some commercials on Fox Sports on Sunday, but they interrupted them from time to time with some cars running around in circle in a single file.

Ken Hall asked, "Where are the friends of coal miners?" Most are dead. Ken Hechler and Dr. Fred Barkey are probably the best living friends of coal miners. The United Mine Workers' union is another dead friend of coal miners. The friends of coal are friends of coal companies.

The poorest states in the country are all in the South and are made up of Republicans and run by Republican politicians.

Would just like to say that Elizabeth Noreika at WCHS is doing a wonderful job! She looks and acts professional, as I am sure she is. Her speech is very clear. She is also very pleasant. I hope she continues to do the news.
