I tried to watch some commercials on Fox Sports on Sunday, but they interrupted them from time to time with some cars running around in circle in a single file.
Ken Hall asked, "Where are the friends of coal miners?" Most are dead. Ken Hechler and Dr. Fred Barkey are probably the best living friends of coal miners. The United Mine Workers' union is another dead friend of coal miners. The friends of coal are friends of coal companies.
The poorest states in the country are all in the South and are made up of Republicans and run by Republican politicians.
Would just like to say that Elizabeth Noreika at WCHS is doing a wonderful job! She looks and acts professional, as I am sure she is. Her speech is very clear. She is also very pleasant. I hope she continues to do the news.

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey has now hired on his staff someone who for maybe five months will not be able to perform the duties of the job. He has also refused to explain his decision and will not let Mr. Lin discuss it either. What happened to the campaign promise of "absolute transparency?"
The crossbow would be an excellent tool for the urban deer hunts that most larger cities in West Virginia are now having each fall. The crossbow is very accurate. It has about the same distance range as a modern compound bow.
I got a great idea on how to get your kids to eat only fruits and vegetables. As a parent, don't bring anything but fruit or vegetables into the house. If they eat junk, you are the one who brought it in and fed it to them. With children, you get what you raise.
When I hear folks say that President Obama is ruining our country, etc., I wonder how they will feel when his second term is complete and the economy has improved, the deficit is creeping downward, health care is more available, our troops have come home and more.
