What a crying shame that some WVIAC members let West Liberty, led by their announcer and new commissioner Reid Amos, destroy the league and 89 years of history.

I sure hope the rumor that Dollar Danny is removing the B&O tax from businesses is false. Danny is all about sticking it to regular consumers with his "user fees" and such. How about adding a tax to businesses to raise funding for the Civic Center?
I was in JC Penney over the weekend. I didn't notice anybody walking around with a Hollywood lesbian stuck in their throat.
Pete Thaw forgets that the tax money for schools is also OPM. Other Peoples Money or tax money should go the libraries as well to benefit all taxpayers. I think he and a lot of other people forget about the benefits to the children and others that the library provides.
Shockingly, sequester-related budget cuts are reducing the U.S. military's ability to wage war for no reason. This is an outrage. The ability of the United States to start wars in a totally arbitrary and capricious manner must never be compromised.
Clay County Super Kenneth Tanner and Clay High School Principal Isaacs are a bunch of pushovers. Since the basketball coach has been there several years, he knows exactly what is going on. Hazing is probably a tradition there.
Perhaps the real reason for Republicans refusing to negotiate on the budget (taxes) is that they have a "vested interest" in the economy faltering, so they can blame our president and try to turn the tide in their favor. That could backfire, though, when we see just how much we need what our government provides.

People wake up. Those people we have sent to represent us need a big wake up call. They are not representing us they are being spoiled brats. They all need to feel the pressure of the real world. They should be fired and have to pick up the pieces of their lives instead of putting us in harm's way with their bullheaded antics.
You can put any slant on it you want, but as a predecessor to our golfing leader once said: "the buck stops here." Those of you who voted for this man, ask yourselves truthfully if you believe you made a mistake.
I drove up the Midland Trail (Route 60) from the Chelyan bridge to Boomer, the same route many tourists travel. Sorry to say, but anyone driving this particular stretch of highway is not going to be impressed with "Wild and Wonderful" WV.
What the president should do, concerning the economy, is tell Congress to pass a bill concerning spending cuts and revenue enhancements, and if he likes it, he'll sign it, if not, he'll veto it. That would put the onus directly on Congress to enact laws, which is their job.
The Democrats are certainly correct in submitting the bill to limit the salaries of those who are not licensed to practice law in the state. Too bad the Republicans did not do it first. As a Republican I supported McGraw as I did not want this "pretend" West Virginian to hold state office.
Its absurd that the public has to comment on whether we should allow more toxic selenium into our drinking water. Does anyone want to have tumors whacked out of their body, do we want cancer, do we want children with their eyes on the same side of their head? I would hope legislators know the answers.
