I see that the teacher unions do not like what Gov. Tomblin says. Whatever they don't like, I do like. What they like is less responsibility, tenure, more pay and less meaningful relationships with the children. Go, Tomblin.

It isn't the money, more teachers or more technology that will improve the West Virginia educational system. It is the entitlement parents who won't work, or help their child learn to read or feed their children because they sell their food stamps. Maybe we should look at this problem instead of putting the blame on our education system.

Why doesn't the guy on the television commercial for the Affiliated Trades union have on safety glasses? He has a hard hat on.

That is a laugh with Pete Thaw accusing the library of being a parasite. He has been one of the biggest parasites on the state budget for years.

Tell this president the election is over. He still campaigns and uses up gas in Air Force One. That is all he has done.

In my opinion, one of the worst periods in American history was when George W. Bush was given the presidency in 2000 and he tore America apart with wars, the economy, the Patriot Act and other things.

I just followed a Kanawha County deputy from South Charleston to St. Albans, and he must have been doing 70 mph with no lights or siren. They don't need body armor to save their lives; they just need to slow down.

Let the people who use the Charleston Civic Center pay for the renovations, not the taxpayers.

The Charleston Daily Mail article urges individual savings as being very important. With Washington's out-of-control spending spree, borrowing and printing money, soon you will need a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread. If you don't think this is possible, just wait and see.

I wonder if the Republican Party is so afraid of the NRA, or is it the hate of Obama that makes them want to protect the outlaws who walk our streets with assault rifles more powerful than our military?

It is time for another statewide teacher strike. Teachers shouldn't allow themselves to be bullied every time the Legislature comes into town, especially by Erik Wells.

No farmer would give a fox complete access to the poultry house. We put a narcissistic wolf in sheep's clothing, not once, but twice. We need fervent prayer.
