So the singer Jepsen and possibly the rock group Train don't want to appear at the Boy Scouts of America's Jamboree because of their stance against gays, and I was just wondering if maybe either of them had read their Bible to see what God thinks about that.

I do read the Gazette, for 30 or 40 years I've been reading it, and I always read the comic page, but my dessert for that is to do the bridge and I miss it. I miss the bridge. Please put the bridge back on again. I read it every day.

I'm getting tired of President Obama's scare tactics on sequestration. When you get right down to it, he's a pretty scary leader.

Just wait until they put some more big taxes on shells. You won't be able to buy them. It's going to be the same way with guns.

Those cowards that beat that young man at the Transit Mall, they reminded me of the Reginald Denny case out in California [during] the L.A. riots. A couple of chickens with bricks.

Our Congress members would qualify for food stamps if we paid them for wages they earned.

To the so-called Christians bashing gay people in the Voice, take a page out of the good book about "He whom is without sin cast the first stone." These folks are entitled to the same rights you and I deserve. If these folks are breaking any commandments they will be dealt with on Judgment Day.

Considering the increasing number of radical hate groups in this country, maybe we should investigate for any ties with our senators and congressman. I would suggest we start with Rand Paul, who obviously is intent on shutting our government down.
