The only reason crossbows are not allowed for archery hunting is because the Bowhunters Association is opposed to crossbows. This is not my opinion, this was told to me by a DNR big game biologist at last year's March DNR meeting. The Bowhunters Association has the clout to block the bill from ever coming out of committee.

The governor's education plan is doing nothing but returning education back to the good-old-boy days. Education begins at home with the parents.
