Seriously, coach? You looked at a schedule that required regular travel to Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Iowa, about half of which were on weeknights, plus the non-conference trips to Gonzaga and Purdue and holiday tournaments, and you "had no idea" travel would be hard?

The only reason crossbows are not allowed for archery hunting is because the Bowhunters Association is opposed to crossbows. This is not my opinion, this was told to me by a DNR big game biologist at last year's March DNR meeting. The Bowhunters Association has the clout to block the bill from ever coming out of committee.

It's interesting that Washington approved $250 million in aid to Egypt ... but keeps claiming sequestration will hurt the poor the most. Let's urge Congress and the president to spend that money at home.

The TSA's new rules allow small knives, baseball bats, golf clubs and other sporting goods on planes, but no water. Thanks to the ban on bottles of water the TSA foiled more than 70 Evian-based terror plots last year. Yeah, right.

I support Rand Paul's rant in the Senate against drones being used against anyone on American soil. If there are terrorists, take them out, but don't use drones where innocent civilians could be killed.

Interesting how Hollywood seems to love Hugo Chavez while the rest of the USA knows that he hates us Americans. Reminds me of the old song, "Don't Cry for Me."

The majority of the so-called cuts in the sequestration agreement are actually reductions in the pace of future spending increases, which is why people outside of D.C. are sweating less than those inside the Beltway.
