I've been a supporter of Dana Holgorsen. I liked Bill Stewart, but I still think that our stature slipped under [his tenure]. But when I read that Dana was at spring drills looking for his new quarterback, I was surprised. He should have been looking [for a QB] last season when we were suffering under Geno.

Why in the world would you be cheering Putnam County's decision to keep its schools on the traditional school calendar? Year-round schools allow for a more efficient use of both facilities and personnel, offer the same number of days off and, most importantly, improve students' ability to retain information.

The rebels the U.S. is supporting in Syria just kidnapped 21 United Nations peacekeepers, and the rebels we supported in Libya just invaded a private television network and kidnapped staffers. Shouldn't our government be subject to the same rules [we are if we support terrorist organizations]?

Bin Laden's son-in-law captured. Unemployment falls to lowest level since March 2008. Stock market hits all time high. Interest rates at all time low. These are just headlines from Thursday. Our leaders are talking about a [change] that will cut $650 a year from the average senior. Contact your member of Congress and senators to oppose this cut to our standard of living.

The governor's education plan is doing nothing but returning education back to the good-old-boy days. Education begins at home with the parents. Why are they not cutting out the waste in the system first? Or going to open bidding and keeping things in the open, not behind closed doors as the state board does?

I hope everybody is satisfied [with] President Obama. He is going to give Egypt $250 million in aid and $1 billion to help pay off one of their loans, which we cannot afford. He doesn't mind raising taxes and cutting jobs here in America.
