I don't agree with Danny Jones on much, but I do agree with him about the passage of HB 2760. This would be so dangerous and such an embarrassment to the state of West Virginia if it does pass. It has nothing to do with the Second Amendment.

Where can I legally get rid of old carpet in Charleston?

People who stockpile weapons are nothing but cowards.

Obama must have bought someone up Campbells Creek a new commode. The old one has washed down the creek and it slides along the bank in my backyard.

I cannot believe that you are not carrying the bridge column. That really made your newspaper worthwhile and now I look for it and it's not in the Gazette. I am really disappointed.

I see where Kent Carper, chief clown of the Kanawha County Commission, and his two lackeys are issuing money out to all department heads for pay raises for county employees. Property taxes went up for all senior citizens in Kanawha County and they haven't had a large increase in their Social Security checks.

Kudos to the boys in blue for taking care of the Amber Alert quickly and safely.

On the news the weathermen keep speaking of the superstorm we had in 1993 with all the snow and everything. Were they not around in 1978 when the actual superstorm hit Charleston and Huntington, as a matter of fact the whole state? Where were they then?

I think it's a disgrace the way this president shut down the tours of the White House. That White House belongs to the people. It does not belong to the president. He is so immature, and acts like a small child .... He's the worst one we've ever had.

Guns are like most other things in an ordinary life. They have their positive side and their negative side. The only difference with guns is that its negative side has death on the end of it.

Why is our government rushing education reform when there's so many issues to discuss? Parents, educators and teachers should all be involved in long discussions about what is best for our children.
