I don't see why the Friends of Coal [companies] doesn't foot the bill for upgrades to the Civic Center. After all, their name is all over it.
The story now is that the Republican Party is trying to determine how to portray itself. Why don't they just be honest and be who they really are instead of trying to find out what they stand for by saying they're for whatever they think will get them the most votes. Stop being phonies.
If Republicans would just all move to the South and Democrats would move to the North, then one of us could secede from the U.S. and everyone would be a lot happier.
The House GOP has a budget that will balance in 10 years. What do you think of its chances of passing in the Senate? Stalemate. We need leadership.
Biden, Pelosi and Feinstein say the dumbest things and the liberal media applauds the comments. Paul, Ryan and Cruz make perfect sense and they're attacked by the same media. The media is dumbing down America.

Heard on TV that lots of people in Ohio voted as many as six times. Could this be why Obama won there? Could this have happened in other states?
Apparently, Hoppy Kercheval sees nothing wrong with paying a person 132K a year to sit on their hands. I also question the intelligence of a person who would give up a job that pays three times as much money to come and work for a right-wing hack like our new attorney general.
When the Boy Scouts arrive in Fayette County greeted with bouquets of flowers provided by the Turnpike employees, I think our gun-happy, fully armed Legislature ought to be there to greet them as well. Let's show them some real West Virginia hospitality!
Here we go again with more government intrusion with this primary-offense seatbelt law. Now any police officer can stop you at any time for no reason whatsoever simply by saying, "I never saw a seatbelt on them."
